Last one almost at 300
god I have one in my class.
Last year I thought 'hey that's a cool guy wearing all black and long stuff' but after finding out about fuccbois and seeing more popping up every day I'd kinda get disgusted by him.
I'm a newcomer to fa and read the sticky. I have previously bought clothes from droublju a few years ago, but I don't regret it.
So where is the best site to start looking for Korean/J-style clothing?
I just like the originality of some of the designs. I was browsing amazon one day and came across pieces I had never seen anywhere else before.
That's basically what I'm looking for- and also there sizes fit me better naturally.
Thoughts on Zespys? Not a big fan of dropcrotch but I think these are nice.
I agree with >>10621488
I like the military pants because they're easier to be mobile in. I always felt conformed by the zespy cut. If you want the zespy sweatpants, go ahead and get those, they're easier to move in.
What are some alternatives to Levi's 510s? They don't necessarily have to be cheaper, just different.
R8 this shirt i found
The front has a pocket that says camel on it.
/fa/, i got a suit recently. how's the fit? is there any hope for me brehs?
i'm usually a /fit/izen so if i fucked up somehow not following board convention rip me a new one
If you want my honest evaluation:
The shoulders and cut in the upper body looks kinda cheap. I'm not sure if it doesn't fit you well, but it does kinda look like something's wrong with the cut. It may just be your pose.
You could take in the waist area in the jacket a bit - V taper = good.
The sleeves are a good length, but your shirt is too short - the sleeves of your shirt should show.
The tie is awful. Burn it and get something normal and not made of cheap fabric.
The pants are tolerable, but too long. Get them hemmed.
The shoes are clownishly long - are your feet actually that big?
The slimmer lapels and tie aren't awful, but keep in mind this suit is always going to look a hair modern.
>You could take in the waist area in the jacket a bit - V taper = good.
Hmmmm... I spoke to a tailor about it and she was like: nah, it's fine...
>The tie is awful. Burn it and get something normal and not made of cheap fabric.
I liked it... But I'll take it on board. t b h I couldn't even tell any significant difference between ties i looked at, which doesn't mean there isn't any but that i didn't pay enough attention when researching and planning
>The shoes are clownishly long - are your feet actually that big?
I've since replaced shoes, so that was a good call.
I think also my posture here fucks up the natural flow of the outfit. Ah well, for off the rack and first try (and me being non-/fa/), I'll call it a win.
it makes you look like a cheap estate agent (realtor for our American friends).
Your body posture is horrendous and take your bloody hands out of your pockets, learn to stand with a bit of poise, think Colin Firth in Kingsmen, that tie is not good and you don't even have it snugged up all the way which looks messy, those shoes need to go, give them to some homeless person to wear, shirt is kind of Meh!, get one with French cuffs, a tie pin to match any cuff links would be good and you need a handkerchief for that top pocket, one that goes with your tie would be good or plain white is always acceptable.
is UPS always such a shit courier? I was stoked the guy sent my shit by them, supposed to be overnighted and arrive yesterday. No delivery, rescheduled for today. Today, package is still like 40mins away from my house but delivery has been rescheduled for tomorrow for no reason.
Definitely never sending anything by them, I'd rather just have normal usps shipping or some shit so at least I know how long it will take to get here instead of these sweet little lies. I wanted to wear my new Dior tonight you fucks.
All mail carriers are pretty shit though desu, at least with UPS it's usually on time. I knew a friend who worked there as a truck packer and they ended up firing him because they were actually watching the security camers one time (to watch another employee who was allegedly stealing packages) and they saw him do his hulk impression where he ripped his shirt open and started going crazy, just throwing boxes onto the conveyor belt.
Alright guys, what the fuck do I do now that I received my Yeezys in the wrong size 10.5 (not 11s) from Barney's after they cancelled 2/3 sizes that I bought [10.5 and 9.5], yet they confirmed they shipped 11s.
Help me out /fa/m, this moonrock shit got me fucked up
How often does uniqlo restock their online store?
Buying online is my only option, but they have next to nothing available in my size. It's been this way every time I checked.
Are people just buying up everything as soon as it's available, or do they not restock on a regular basis?
I love olive chinos and wear them pretty much everyday.
What are some essentials to watch with them? I guess I'm mostly asking about what colors should I go for, specifically for boots and jacket.
Been thinking about getting a Alpha Industries M-65 jacket and I really like the olive one since it's my favorite color, so I'll probably need more pants options. How would black pants work?
is it hard to pull these off? doesnt get very cold in my state.
He is a very fun person to hang with although he is not very responsible. I am not really proud that I am his friend we are just friends idk... I was trying to make a point that some of the people working there don't care enough (it's not hard to understand why they make minimum wage stacking heavy boxes) so they're only really as organized as the managers and supervisors can force them to be. I might have accidentally deleted a sentence or too, whatever.
I've usually gotten pretty good service with usps and ups but and I think usps online tracking is more accurate for some reason. Both usps and ups are pretty good at having the drivers come up and knock to tell you your package is here which is important imo, I ordered through fedex a few times and the drivers NEVER knocked, just left the packages. I want my stuff asap and it's really annoying to have to get up and check my porch every hour to see if it arrived.
Just got wool pants similar to this guys. They are too long so do I cuff them like pic related or just hem them where I want.
Will the dye from black jeans bleed onto white shoes?
I know indigo dye will do this, but I've read that indigo dye is different than other dyes.
They are skinny jeans with a synthetic blend. I've let them soak, and washed them in the bathtub in cold water (no detergent). Should I be all right?
Since people have asked about it a few times, I figured I'd just say that I just got my fucking order in the mail from Camber
It took 3 1/2 months but my two shirts came in just now and the quality is absolutely phenomenal. Best $15 shirt I own. well well worth the price; but the wait sucked.
Nonetheless, I'll be placing an order for two more shirts and a pullover hoodie soon.
Fit is true to size; the shirts are boxy
best quality womens black skinnies for ~$100 or less?
i
lost weight
get some sweats in the $50 range and take them to the tailor
it's a lot better that you take them to somebody who can make them fit perfectly for you rather than somebody who can make them fit decently for a large demographic
Anyone here own a Woolrich John Rich & Bros parka like the arctic parka df? Wanting to know how good they are temp wise
I live in Albania and we dont have many decent brands here. The best I found so far is Massimo Dutti. What's the quality of Massimo Dutti boots and leather jackets? I mean I like them and I can get them on sale since Christmas is coming. Are they cheap faux leather shit that I should avoid or are they not bad? I don't want them to be great just need a casual leather jacket and some boots that wont get destroyed in 1 year.
It's not faux leather though the jackets are sheep leather or that's what it says in their site. I can't buy anything more than 155$ on the internet because I have to pay customs fee or some shiit which is expensive.
I got two casual hoodies of different size, which one should I keep
Top is larger, shoulders fit but everything else is looser
Bottom is smaller, shoulders a bit small but torso and sleeves more snug
I wanna get some leather gloves for the winter but I don't wanna look like a neckbeard. Any tips?
Where do I cop a sweater with this pattern
Replica question for someone familiar with this shit. Which pink option on these Raf Smiths is closest to the real deal? I am aware no "perfect" rep exists but don't know which I should cop. (As a xmas present for my fuccgirl gf)
For reference. There are quite a few pics of the right hand pair in the description.
Assuming the R on the other option is the same, any obvious color preference jumping out at you? And anyone know if one tongue should always have Raf, or if some releases only have Smith?
Those are hill creases caused by bunching up of material. Underneath, the leather has worn into a uniform piece so if you remove the crease the leather won't bunch up anymore. Find some really high grit sandpaper, 800-1000 ppi, and carefully sand down the creases. Make sure to go parallel to the crease and not perpendicular. You'll lose some paint but that's what shoe cream is for.
what shoes are these
Ignore the guy wearing it, what is this style of jacket closure called? And does anyone recognize the jacket itself?
I've seen one a bit like it from Buzz Rickson's, but "snap hooks" doesn't seem to be the usual name for these. http://fourpins.com/style/2014/12/william-gibson-buzz-rickson-deck-coat-self-edge
>wearing adidas shit in finland
those look like they were meant for "winter" and not winter. never buy winter clothes abroad. they have no idea what winter clothing should be like.
I'm >>10636165, and really sorry to hear that
most decent looking sneakers are knotted as I'm sure you've realized. but you can still find slip-on minimalistic things, either espadrilles or something simple in leather
I also saw https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/914635363/xpand-lacing-system recently which would work with a casual trainer (in a non-neon colorway), but given that it's a kickstarter you might want to wait for manufacturing and reviews
is this a recent onset thing, or what've you been doing in the past for this?
Own one myself, really warm and the fur on the collar is a plus. Kept me cozy during Chicago winter :^) The hand pockets on the side are lined with a sherpa-like material and are warm too.
How does /fa/ feel about milshit? Flec parka dyed black/grey, flec jacket dyed, etc.
Does camo ever work with fits? I like the cuts, and I'm kind of like post-apoc / punk but I dunno how to feel about it in general.
will wearing a black sweater with all black shoes look autistic like pic
I'm new here so not really sure if this question really belongs to this board, but what are some /fa sites doing Black Friday sales? Preferably ones that do international shipping for cheap
Do you guys think the nike acg trainerendor will be rereleased ever?
Are there any alternatives to vans slip-ons that aren't high tier? Every time I search I only find the ones that are $$$.
Just looking for an all black pair to wear for stuff when I need to change out of my shoes or flights. I know COS had some.
The sleeves look fine in length. At least for a coat. This usually means that the garment, assuming it hasn't been altered, fits as intended. The coat is exactly as it should be.
Does it look too long? Does it look good? These are different questions.
I personally think the coat is a little long, but it might compliment a slender frame. I suggest going to a tailor and doing one of two things:
1. If you want to maintain the length of the coat, at least get the coat taken in around the waist. This will be more form fitting, which makes you look less like a formless tower of blackness.
2. If you don't care about losing some length, I suggest having the tailor listen to your ideas and recommend a new length, perhaps having the garment shortened.
Whatever you choose to do, I would also recommend having those sleeves adjusted. It looks like they're stacking too much on the right arm bend. I could be wrong, though.
Also not loving the cableknit beanie with the outfit unless it's 0 degrees and you're also wearing a scarf.
I got a Beams+ flannel today that looks pretty nice with black jeans. Shoulders fit well but it's quite roomy overall. What should I tailor?
Oh yeah, not only tailor but also how much. I think too skinny is bad for flannels.
Thanks a lot man
I kinda like the baggy look but I might get it altered
Also looking into the spray and a lint brush
Fit check on this parka? Should I go a size larger?
>the one on the right
Do these pants look alright or are they too baggy? I'm not sure whether I should get them tapered or not.
So I posted the November issue of Mini a few weeks ago
Like ten people were pretty stoked
Tomorrow I'm gonna scan the newest issues of Liniere and Popeye. Just got them today
Looking for something similar to this, or just this in a large, can't find it in stock in the UK.
Help me homies
How well would these hold up to an ice and salt kind of winter? The product description says
>A great basic, working winter boot!
but a Spanish definition of winter may be starkly different from mine.
They don't look too baggy, but I think a taper could only help.
You can get any pair of boots treated for the winter weather with an aerosol can from Allen Edmonds, Collonil, Kiwi, or your go to leather care brand
But in my experience it takes all of the shine off of boots and can require frequent reapplication, depending on the amount of wear they receive
w2c cool sweatshirts?
this one is sold out everywhere right?
plain colors vs printed ones?
I have asked this question in about 14 threads and on 729 youtube videos. CAN SOMEONE FUCKING ASWER FOR CHANGE?!
Is the hair on the top of his head all the same lenght or is it shorter near the back than the front? Should the hair in the front reach all the way to the "end" of the hair on the back of his head?
What color pants work best with these boots? Is it ever okay to wear brown boots with black pants?
It seems that the front is just combed back to reach the back, but it does appear that the back is somewhat shorter. You can see the length of the hairs towards the left of his head (right side of the photo) are getting shorter.
But it is a shit haircut. The fade on his side is literal garbage. It looks like someone tried to fade a 1 into a 3 or 4. The fade isn't even all the way around. It even looks like the hair gets longer as it gets closer to his forehead. It's stupid.
What's the quality of Massimo Dutti leather jackets and boots? Im looking for some casual leather jacket and this is the only brand in my city which I know of expect for zara pull and bear and that fast fashion shit. Is the quality decent? I will check them on sale since christmas is coming.
hey guys I've lost some weight recently (like 20 lbs) and I've decided to start caring about how I look. I'd like to buy some nice jeans, particularly some levis 511 slim (like here http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00K77V04Q/ref=twister_B0018OLTAC) but I'm not sure about the fit. I kind of have the skinny fat womanly hip problem where my waist is 30" but my hips kind of jut out a bit. Could I pull these jeans off now, or should I drop another 10/20 lbs? (6' and currently 162) Thanks /fa/m
Would this be a good pair of "dress shoes" with dark jeans?
Also, are Wolverine 1000 miles meme shoes or are they actually decent dress boots? Are red wings better?
will i look stupid/school shooter-y if i wear these?
If i bought a item on grailed and the user doesn't respond to the purchase message for 2 days should I be worried?
Help me out, what are these jackets called and where can I find one with a more appropriate logo on the back?
I don't see why not. They're derbies, and AE isn't terrible.
From what I hear, 1000 miles are decent, but you'll probably have significantly better options at that price point, so look for them on sale if you're dead set. Red Wings are a mixed bag. From what I can tell, if you're buying a model you know is made in the US and not in China or somesuch, the boots should be fine, but as with Wolverine, a chunk of their hefty price tag is for the brand name.
i thrifted a pair of straight leg wool trousers that fit perfect around the waist
i'm tall and slim why the fuck do the pants sit like this
what is wrong with me /fa/?
holy fucking shit lmaoaoaoaoa
I thrifted perfectly good pair of grey wool trousers a while ago for 2 euro dollarydoos, made locally and never worn
Though dunno how much use I will get out of them cause I'm not too keen on the color
Just save up for a better pair. Seriously, I doubt you'll get any use out of those, just consider this a cheap lesson learned on what not to do, seeing as how you thrifted it (I'm guessing for a nickel).
I'm a cheap bastard who buys shoes off 6pm.com and clothes at marshalls and ross. Where else should I look for good clothes? At this point I might even pay retail.
yo how's the sizing on these? TTS?
What you are describing is the glue holding the midsole to the upper letting go, this happens most frequently with wear to cheaper shoes, but the only way to avoid it is buying shoes with a stitched and glued sole. You should not see this within a day of wearing them
How much does red hair limit your range of colours for clothing? I've got a dark rusty red colour, and I use Reuzel blue pomade so it's got a fair amount of shine with it, but I feel like the colour really limits a lot of what I can wear. I tend to wear almost exclusively black, grey, white, and beige chinos, black jeans, as well as occasional blue jeans.
I love burgundy, or any red/purple, and I can often be fine with it since my hair is very dark and not that orange-red that looks so awful most of the time.
Also, red hair inspo? I don't want a beard, and I can't grow one anyway, which is fine by me because that's an awful look.
Anyone know if Tres Bien typically has sales post-Christmas?
I'm looking to cop some CP's and they're the cheapest option, I can afford to cop now but I'd prefer to wait an buy them if there is a sale in the near future since it's winter in Canada and I probably won't be able to wear them outside til April anyways.
is wearing a coat like this on the street/in school as pretentious as wearing a blazer?
Where can I get something with a similar cut to john elliott's escobar sweats without all the annoying details he puts on his sweats?
Any tapered slim sweatpants that have no frills are welcome! Thank you, I have looked before asking and found nothin!
My black jeans started to fade along this seam on the inside. What do I do? Sharpie? Redying them completely seems like a waste.
posted in a WAYWT thread earlier, and someone made fun of me and told me my jeans are too big.
i'm just wondering exactly how much smaller i need to go, and how small is too small. the pants i wore in the pic are size 34, if i pull on the waist band (not super hard), it goes about 2 inches away from my waist.
does this mean i should go roughly 2 sizes smaller? i'm going to be buying online so i just want to make sure whatever i buy doesn't look way too tight on me.
Did not cop myself got it as a birthday gift
Calvin klein funnel jacket
As soon as the gift givers left I tried so hard to put it into a fit and I can't. Is it just me or is this jacket ugly af senpai?
Can anyone help me try to put it into a fit?
uniqlo is all out of t shirts in my size, but they have plenty of undershirts.
should just buy some of these? or is there something different about the way undershirts are constructed that makes them unsuitable to be used as a regular t shirt?
Why is it that minimalism gets applauded so much in the WAYWT threads?
The same black/grey/white fits get posted over and over again and while they don't look bad there's nothing interesting about them either. Don't even understand why you'd post a fit like that unless there's some layering or nice textures going on.
I'm in the process of losing weight and down 20lbs so far. Are my thighs still too fat for slim fit jeans? I have a 30" waist but still worried about my thighs. I would obviously try them on before buying but still insecure about being /fa/t
Just got this today on sale, pretty satisfied
do these jeans look alright? not sure if they're too skinny or not
they're stretchy so they're not totally uncomfortable.
i'm just used to wearing baggier jeans so i wanted to make sure i didn't fuck up.
don't want to look like pic related.
where can I cop a good loose fitting long sleeve shirt like the gook in this picture or in this video?
