Can someone explain to me the pricing of scarves?

I've seen mid-high end scarves going for between £50-£150. Then there's shit like Valentino pricing their scarves at £380, factory made printed camo type shit. I am assuming that construction and materials only accounts for so much of the cost, let's say up to £100, and the rest is just paying for that brand?

no idea, wish I knew. glad i found a brand that gets it bang on though, and they're 100% wool or alpaca, made in UK. Maybe search for long beanie or 8.5in beanie, or I know mt rainier do similar ones , and william fox and sons do good ones
