don't wash it with shampoo for a few days, essentially whats happening is that your hair is getting more natural oils in it. to make this happen faster use conditioner or add oils like coconut/grape/etc oils to your hair after you shower. don't go too crazy, there is a thin line between cool looking wet hair vs greasy ass hair.

a lot of you guys need to get an inverted cut while growing out your hair, the back hairline is way lower and its obvious you havent gotten a trim in a long while.

helpful tips for growing out your hair and keeping it healthy is to wash it every third day, third day do hair mask/oiling before washing.

Hi. I'm half scandinavian and half hispanic so my hair is something inbetween the two but definitely leaning more towards the hispanic. Well, that's the thing. It's not really dry, just frizzy. I only was my hair with shampoo about 2 times a week and always with a conditioner after. I've started using argan oil as well but it doesn't really help, it just leaves the hair looking dirty. Those pictures were also really my extremes. It's not always THAT dry/frizzy. Pic related is when it turns out good (which rarely happens)

used to have a flat-top last year, shaved it off and grew my hair out again.

dyed it blonde back in july, and let it grow out more without shaving anything but the sides.

I disagree completely, that looks infinitely better than the same length hair had it been straight and thin. Just look at pixie cuts and see how bad they look. Sometimes when I run my fingers through my hair I hear this snapping sound. This even happens only a few hours after brushing it thoroughly and I have no idea why.

It's gotten so bad that I have a few shorter hair that are not able in the front. I'm 99% sure that's because of the snapping.

Anyone have a solution to this? I wash my hair 2-3 times a week and condition about 3-4 times a week.
