I use kustomwallpaper. It's really fast and reliable, and you can make a lot of neat stuff. I can't record my screen but you can animate how things react to anything(even your own made up variables). For example the left screen app box is animated upward and the right screen music box animates down, gicing the impression that it's actually the same box when you swipe between screens.

The only thing that is not made with kustom is pic related, music widget and app icons. Uccw can also do pretty similar things but I like kustom more.
