anybody here with Levi's 514?
how's the fit?
I usually wear boots.

I'm also interested in this.
This graph doesn't really help me
I've tried them on a few times. I hate how they fit and have no idea why so many people wear them.
The name is really misleading. They seem way baggier than 501s or 505s to me, especially below the knee. I guess that makes them kind of like boot cut 505s. If you're looking for an actual "slim straight" cut, go for the 513; they're not perfect, but they're way better than 514s.

I've owned a pair of 511's and they're just about skintight up until the ankle. Idk if this is enough information, but how would 513's or 514's fit compared to the 511's?

Both would be looser. 513s would be more like a straight fit in the thigh, and a slim fit below the knee. Overall, not skintight, but not very loose, either. 514s would be loose all around. The pictures you've posted are reasonably accurate: they fit like a loose straight that are kind of bootcut.

Thanks friend. Here's a screencap from /k/ as thanks.

Am I buying the wrong 511s? They're still baggy for me, and only 510s are skinny. I don't even have chicken legs; I play soccer.

wtf
514's were popular way back when when people with 501/505 didn't want to wear skinny jeans
today nearly everyone wears skinny jeans where 510's are the norm and 511's which were considered skinny back then are considered more conservative

fabric is pretty thin so 11 in the thigh actually is pretty comfy for me as a guy with big thighs
what about the 504?

I have a pair of 504. They are not that baggy but they only go good with hi tops and boots imo

sounds good then.
so is it a slimmish straight, then?
