Honestly, because of the way they're made I can probably fit from a 7 to an 8.5 or maybe bigger without much issue. Even in the 7.5 my toes don't touch anything but the insole. If you want to wear them laceless you have to go on the smaller side though.

This is only good until you get to the ankle. The low top no show sock is a terrible look. The shoes themselves also kill the look. I do have to say though, that is the perfect spot for the pant cuff. Too many of these effay drones "ironically" cuff too high.

Not fake. Fake cps do exist, but they are extremely easy to spot. These look different and shiny because ether are a patent leather model. As for the missing made in Italy It could just be this particular line didn't have that, to the patent ones are made somewhere else.
