I think intuitive eating is the way to go too. It's how I slimmed down before I developed an eating disorder. when I thought my jeans were feeling too tight, I'd just lay off the bread and chocolate a bit, no big deal.

Seconding this. Just get some emergency basics at Uniqlo. There's also H&M which is definitely less completely basic-ass like Uniqlo, but I don't recommend H&M really because with a few exceptions the quality is piss poor. Uniqlo's quality is pretty decent.

Where can I find a nice pair of cargo shorts? They are rare but do exist, I've seen them: not too long inseam, square pockets with small cargo pockets. That seemed to be the norm for men once upon a time, now most cargo shorts are baggie wakeboard or child molester/birdwatcher-tier.
I want something like a 80's eddie bauer short and I don't want to shop in the ladies section to find them. Can you help me?
