It's essential to be effay.
I'm from /fit/. I wear b-ball shorts and oversized tshirts 90% of the time. I only come here in the hopes that one of these threads will teach me how to sew.

Should I wear a tshirt for a band to their own show?
The show was a limited edition, free shirt they gave out at a different show I was at, so not an online order or generic t-shirt.
I'm inclined to say no, but would like some friendly advice.
fuck off back to /mu/
we dont want you here

I'm a manlet (only 180cm) but I have a long torso--almost ferret-like. I find that J Crew oxfords and American Apparel tees are ideal for my body type. Other shirts end above my waistline.
But I need to stop wearing the same shit everyday. What are some other shirts that have normal-length sleeves, but nice torso length?

in what universe
>>12393869
180cm in only 5'9", that's well into manlet territory.

Should denim jackets be cropped?
What's the consensus on this?

That's too short.
If I saw somebody like that I'd probably think he was a sissy and drag him into an alley and poz him with my lethal seed

Type 3 is supposed to have your shirt hanging out underneath. It dates from when tucking your shirt in was the done thing.

What does /fa/ think of anti social social club?
>>12393117
ironically only normies with healthy social lives wear it
>>12393119
so that's why everyone on /fa/ hates it
>>12393117
Please don't wear this shit. Maybe at some point it was cool amongst internet people but goddamn it is so played out that I see 13 y.o. rich kids wearing it.

Still cold lately so for tops, mostly ribbed, waffle-knit, or textured sweaters in either navy, black, grays. I'm just tired of wearing hoodies and looking like a depressed mallgoth emo underage sadcunt.
Big, big fan of Kentaro Sakaguchi's look so I've been slowly collecting sweaters that look similar to his. Bought a bunch of them from the local H&M for $7 each. Suspiciously cheap I know, but the quality's pretty nice. The trick is to get them slightly too large so they look relaxed on you....

They're great. Very versatile and functional. They look /fa/ as fuck even when tattered and worn out. They keep me warm enough but not too much so I don't overheat. I wear an Airism undershirt when the weather is warmer and a golf windshirt underneath when it's a little too cold or maybe throw on a denim jacket.
For pants, usually wear black 511s. Don't really give them too much thought since they get destroyed before you know it.
For shoes, I skate Emerica Provost Slim Vulc. So glad I discovered it.

At $33, dat sexy-ass muthabitch really hits that sweet spot between good quality and reasonably priced. The suede and the rubber really does last about as long as other Vans design rip-offs. My only real complaint is that I wish the soles were slightly grippier. But all in all, I'd highly recommend them.
Are Vans a piece of classic Americana?
Are Vans the Red Wing of sneakers?
>>12392865
I don't know, are you a fuckin' faggot?
>>12392865
>Are Vans a piece of classic Americana?
In California, yeah. In the rest of the country, the sneaker of record and most iconic is still probably All-Stars. Keds were probably the leader back in the day, and if steered the right direction might be able to leverage their heritage to become cool/iconic again (they tried by using T.Swift, but I'm not sure it helped much). But it's a crowded field now, isn't it. 70s Nike running shoes are classic Americana now.
They're a good casual shoe but not really a fashion statement
I've been wearing vans for like 12 years now, probably will always own a pair even into old age
But they aren't /fa/
Got a new job and need a decent looking/fitting suit. Where are some places I can get a decent quality and cut suit for around $350 assuming that exists.
https://www.filippa-k.com/en/man/tailoring
a bit more than 350 but perfect cut perfect fabrics it'll last you a long time

>Where are some places I can get a decent quality and cut suit for around $350 assuming that exists.
Mmmmaybe some of the Suitsupply suits are in that price range? To be honest with you though, your best option is probably just to try to find a decent secondhand suit at a men's vintage shop in your city and save up for a better quality suit later. $350 is a tricky midrange where you won't really get value for your money, so even some cheap rack shit might be a better choice for the time being, until you have the resources to get something nice and quality.
Suitsupply, their least expensive option is $20 out of your price range, but for the money it's a good buy.
