I lurk a lot and dont see much about females. What is /fa/ for grills at the moment? Are tall socks overdone and predictable now?

There are hundreds of websites online to find out what is fashionable for women. If you're looking for a 4chan-inspired style and want to wear tall socks and dress like an anime, /cgl/ might help, especially with sourcing things. You can try lurking reddit's femalefashionadvice for archived sources on actual fashionable stuff. you can read refinery29 or some other female fashion website. you can check out lookbook, tumblr and polyvore. and streetstyle blogs in your part of the world. if you live in a small town, move. the only good female posters (berry, cg, timber) here have been lurking for years and if you start dressing for the approval of /fa/'s mostly-thisty-male population you'll soon either have a stalker or an eating disorder (probably both)

hey /fa/
im from the /cgl/ board and i basically have all of the popular harajuku street fashion down since its very cookie cutter, but when i browse /fa/, it just doesn't seem to be that way. im very confused as to what you all think is /fa/ and not. you dont really follow a formula for any of the styles, do you? i get that being unique and developing a personal style is as /fa/ as you can get, but first fundamentals have to be mastered.
basically what im asking is, how exactly do i get into /fa/? aside from following fashion designers and look at their seasonal collections. i also went through the sticky, but it doesnt actually answer my question.
