What does /fa/ think about grey monochrome as a dressing style?

Almost all my clothes are grey. Shirts, pants, t-shirts, coats, shorts, etc.
I eventually throw some white or a pastel color in the middle, but it's usually monochrome.

I'd post a fit, but my phone is broken, so get one from the internet. I'm male, though, if it matters.

sure if you like to look like you're wearing a tracksuit

i mean, if you're wearing various shades of grey, it could definitely work, but if it was all the same color and texture of grey it would look like you're wearing a track suit

What about grey shorts with a grey tshirt? Similar shades.

it gets inspiration from russian youth culture/skate culture and it's cheap, it's almost like a russian supreme - gosha isn't really a designer, he's a photographer so honestly at the end of the day if you buy something off him you may as well be buying a tshirt off some teens bigcartel, execpt goshas clothes are produced by CdG :)

I personally like a lot of his shoes and tshirts and sweaters and will defs be buying a few things from ss15 and aw15

I'm ready to become /fa/ As someone who came from a modest family and got thrown into the world of architecture/design, I spent 4 years of college trying to figure out how I fit in. Parents never had money for clothes for me, nor did they care. I was left to check the discount racks at jcpenny. i couldnt imagine spending $80 on a shirt.

But now I have money, I'm ready to conform, to look like them and not feel like an outcast. Where do I start? JCrew? Frank and Oak? Urban Outfitters? I dont care about not being myself. i've been like that forever and it's gotten me nowhere.

>tldr who makes the best trendy stuff: jcrew, urban outfitters, something else?

Are you white? You can only become truly /fa/ if you're white. If you're anything else, you become a mockery of what it means to be /fa/.

Tldr: read the sticky

Of course I am. 5'9, 140lbs. dont really have the proportions for slims (stocky thighs, slim waist), but fuck I'm just ready to assimilate.

Nothing I buy ever comes. It's a huge scam.
>>
Bought three things from there so far. One of three had a lot more damage than was acknowledged on the ad, but the other two were exactly as listed and came right on time.

Basically just consider the quality of documentation and the description carefully, if you're unsure about something ask the person who listed it, and accept the fact that you're buying secondhand. If anything turns out far wrong, it's PayPal based, so you can always make a claim in a worst-case scenario.

Dunno, all commonsense stuff, offer than that there's a lot of cool stuff that pops up. The only thing that bothers me is that a lot of things are overvalued by the seller - which is the nature of resale generally, so whatever.

Oxford

My style is heavily influenced by 60s American/Japanese prep (Take Ivy etc, slim cut chinos/jeans cuffed w/ no break, sportswear) mixed with a kind of late 80s apres ski and more general academic/university wear (lots of crew neck shetlands and fisherman jumpers, bit of tweed), but the basis of it is all English. All of the fits are modern af though, and I like to play around with the 'tradition' that I'm working in, and dress down certain items that are generally considered more formal, which is really interesting i.e. slim Gant Rugger tweed blazer with a rowing t shirt, navy cable jumper, leather braid belt, slim selvedge bleached jeans, cuffed with no break, rugby stripe socks and either dark brown Loake brogues or white leather Jack Purcells. I like wearing slim cut oxfords casually too, and mixing in sportswear where I can- my favourite designers are Thom Browne, Michael Bastian, Polo, Gant, Hackett, Barbour, Loake, Church's

Think Brideshead meets Hot Tub Time Machine meets Ezra Koenig meets Take Ivy

So I got tired of my hair and got something of an undercut.
The top could have been a bit shorter but all in all it's better than my previous haircut. Opinions and criticism is encouraged because if there's room to improve I will.
