Please make sure you have something to post when you start this kind of thread. Posting whatever I got that qualifies as comfortable.
i hate haircut threads. i would kill my entire family with my bare hands and impale myself upon a satanic altar if i could come back as a demonic ghost that murders every person who has ever made or replied to a haircut thread. if you are such a person you are the cancer that has killed /fa/. with every breath you draw and every post you make, a thread that is actually on topic gets knocked off the 10th page.
the worst part is the vast majority of these people aren't even board regulars. they are insipid brain dead morons who were too idiotic, lazy, or downright inept to simply google haircut advice. no, instead they had to click on the one board on 4chan that is almost tangibly related to their question, and make a thread. a pox upon the board, an unsightly blemish, a cancerous sore stuck to the front page. a black hole from which no intelligent discussion can either enter or escape. a post upon a board these people have never lurked nor visited, one that if done upon their home board i am sure would cause great upset.
and then they leave, just like that, without having ever given a thought to the collective damage their ilk has caused this community. thousands of them over the years. a million boots, trampling all over this delicate low traffic garden. crushing underneath them any attempt at cultivating quality discussion or interaction.
there are others too, but none so vile as the haircut advice posters. i truly believe that if there is any sense of justice in this world, then in the great beyond a fate exists for them worse than hell itself. for hell would be too good for these people.

Of course it can, the real question is if you can pull it off.
>>9436571
That'd fit nicely. But wear something more than just a white t-shirt or the trousers will look out of place.

Gauges are def out now, and that shit is kinda permanent. I could see earrings coming back in a purely ironic way, but other than that I'd steer clear. It takes a certain kind o man and style to even pull off men's jewelry let alone piercings

Since wool pants are gonna be pretty big this year I thought I'd start a thread. Any particular good brands? Which colour is the most versatile?
Wool pants general.
Raf Simons, Acne, Paul Smith, Jil Sander and NN07 all do some nice trousers. For more formal stuff check out Lanvin, Margeila, Boglioli and Incotex.
I realized today that over half my pants are some form of wool. I'm honestly surprised at how versatile of a material it can be.
Navy or grey are most versatile.

Advice thread?
I'm the guy in the picture, and i'm looking to make my look more attractive to women. Pleb idea, I know, but lately i've become dissatisfied. I tend to go for a dadcore/collegiate look, focusing on supremely gentlemanly fits, the ones that subtly highlighting the positive contours of my body, combined with both high quality tailoring and attention to detail.
I just don't see women appeciating how I look. I love fashion, but I would honestly like to lose my virginity soon (I am 22 ) so not above trying a little bit to dress to achieve those ends. Does anyone have any tips to achieve this? I was thinking more extreme tight fitting stuff, since I doubt gothninja impresses a lot of women. That said I do also want a bit more 'edge' in my look, to get more attention, and would love to attract sophisticated, intelligent women rather than the average girl.
I put a lot of effort into my appearance -- in that I spend a lot of time on /fa/ and roughly 300$ monthly on new items (the shirt in the picture is 150$ from Ralph Lauren), so I am really upset that I don't seem to be able to dress to women's standards.

haha
Good thread
Is there anything wrong with dressing like Elliot?
are grills the main motivator for you to become effay?
is it uncommon to just want to be an aesthetic human being, that being the reward in itself?
are there any guys on /fa/ who are completely disinterested in sex?
(i know there are plenty of females out there like this, but i'm more interested in males because there is more of a social expectation that they have to "compete" for sex and since fashion is often adopted as a means to this end, fashion as an art is often pushed aside in favor of fashion as a way to influence females)
is castration /fa/?
castration is very /fa/
id say most people here drwss for themselves but looking at a waywt thread you can see thats not the case
I'd say most people don't dress for girls. There is a sweet satisfaction in yourself you get from dressing well. When I'm well dressed I feel a lot more comfortable with myself and everything I do. This leads me to be more confident and out-going. Even when I'm not doing anything important or seeing anyone for my own personal satisfaction I like to dress well. Makes me happy.
As for the sex thing. I would say dressing well has helped a lot for compliments and girls. I however already have a girlfriend so couldn't comment on how much is helps for casual sex.
All my friends see me as the well dressed one in the group and a few of them sometimes message me on what I think of a particular item.
And castration uhh I wouldn't say it was /fa/ in the slightest. Sorry man.

This basically.
I won't lie, I do try dressing better to impress girls but it's not the main reason/priority. I think of it as an added bonus if I do get their attention.
