Looks a little big in the arms, but the jacket itself is pretty cool, though Im not sure what those white things are

It does look too big, mainly around the sleeves, arms, and underarms. If you can return it, try a size smaller. Same problem I have with vintage Levi trucker jackets, chest might be a good fit, but arms are too big. Are the white patches sports related, not bad, but not my style.

You sure it ain't your undergarments? I've had 3 pairs of Naked and Famous jeans, and even 4 wears a week on the same pair never smelled. Not to be an ass, but it may be you, unless you didn't get denim and instead got a more absorbent material. Denim really doesn't hold odorous smells from the body that well, which is why there's a market for raws. Other options could be sticking them in your freezer overnight to kill the bacteria, or febreezing the shit out of the yoke and leaving them, ideally, in the hot sun. But that ain't really an option if you're in the northern hemisphere.

If you have any pictures of men in navy suits that you think look particularly good please post them, that would be ideal because then I can probably show the tailor the picture which will be much better than any of my attempts to describe things.

We'll take a random example: minimalism

So now when you shop for clothes you try and create an outfit that fits that idea, and you buy clothes that are coherent to it. You'll look for minimal, unflashy clothing with little colour for example.

This will make your wardrobe coherent.

You will look terrible at first, but with time if you stick to one thing you will get better at it and begin to understand what looks good and what fits well.

Ask yourself why you want to be more fashionable, is it to get compliments off pedestrians? Is it to express yourself through clothing? Is it to get hot babes?

The answer to that question dramatically affects what you will be wearing. One thing for certain not to do is copy a specific person or style that you see, it's really obvious when someone is doing that and not being themselves.
