Nah fuck Golf and all that. FA is definitely a fashion line and they make some kind of /edgy/ graphic tees that I think are hilarious in a sort of Harmony Korine way if that makes sense. Jason Dill explains it well in an interview, I'll try to find it.

I tried having a beard once, but couldn't grow the moustache to go along with the fullness of the beard so I looked Amish. Was a damn shame.

I hope this fad lasts a while, it's awesome to wake up in the morning and not have to shave your face. Was awesome. I hate my upper lip.

There's a theory floating around that a lot of male fashion comes from the military. Beards used to be a big thing up til ww1 when you needed to wear a gas mask to keep from dying. Now, the war in the middle east has a lot of sf guys using beards to get respect from the locals.

Not sure if that's true, just a theory I've heard.

Only if your face structure and hair can compliment it. The frame/lens itself is also important. I bought a cheap pair of round sunglasses and kind of regret it because it's hard to not look like I'm a blind person or some horrible '90s pop culture reference.

You answered it yourself. Runway is not meant to be worn irl but are exaggerated pieces that often reflect what features or themes you may find in the ready to wear collection.

Although, only the really old fashion houses do this (couture is the term). Many houses are featuring ready to wear but ofc, will play around with it to make it a show

To add onto the previous poster, Lemaire usually makes stuff that can be worn in real life in their runway shows.

This is a good post.

It's the same reason why you don't see much avant garde art on /wg/ - what people like on a sort of practical/everyday basis is not what runway shows aim for.

I prefer the 513. It's pretty much as slim as it gets without getting into skinny territory.
