Can anyone tell me how to cop stuff off TaoBao? Only ever copped through yahoo Jp via proxy, do I need a proxy for TaoBao or am I able to buy directly from the "shops"?
Any recommended proxies if I need one?

Yeah use dotdotbuy. There's a tutorial somewhere on reddit iirc

Got pic related from my dad. Would black boots work well with this, or will I just look like an edgelord? What footwear could work well with this jacket?

Hello /fa/
I'm looking for advice on buying a watch.
I apologize if there is a general watch thread that I missed.
I currently own a submariner "homage"... picture related, it's mine.
I didn't know anything about watches back when I bought it 3-4 years ago and I thought the design was awesome.
I still love the design, but the watch is running slow (about 4-5 minutes off per week) and I now know it's basically just an imitation, so it feels weird to wear it. Plus, people came to me asking advice on Rolex because of it and it was pretty fucking embarrassing.
That's why I'm seriously considering buying a real watch.
Of course I like the black submariner design, if I could have it with a navy bezel, that would be awesome but the current blue model from Rolex looks a bit too light to me and it only comes with gold bracelet which makes it a bit off my budget as well (which would be around 5k$).
Also, if I buy a Rolex for example, can I be safe and don't worry about it running off every 3 years or so?
What would be your recommendation?
Thanks
>>11364402
Audemars or don't even bother.

>Also, if I buy a Rolex for example, can I be safe and don't worry about it running off every 3 years or so?
If you buy a Rolex it will keep for your entire life and then some.
I currently wear a 116034 that I have had for about three years. It has not failed me once.
It's also a classic watch in a classic size (36mm). It will never go out of style.
You talk about a "blue model," but if you bought a used Submariner or something and put a new bezel in it, that could happen I guess, but be aware - the purists may look down on you for it.
There is no other watch as robust and reliable and with such durability as a Rolex.

If you buy an Audemars like this guy suggests, be aware that an AP is more delicate and also costs more across the board (watches cost more, and servicing is much more expensive as well). However, the quality of the moment and finishing is second to none. They are another level above Rolex and roam with the likes of Patek and Vacheron.
If you were to get a starter AP, I would recommend the 15450, 15202, or 15400 if you like a larger watch (some people do not like this because they think it is not true to the original design because it uses the 3120 movement which some think is too small for the case).
If you want a larger AP with more wrist presence, I recommend a royal oak offshore or royal oak offshore diver. They're great but also larger and I don't know if thats your thing.

they are flying me down to Paris for my first ever castings in two weeks, and I had a clear face when I got scouted. I have mild acne now. anything I can do until then? not trying to become some cool top model, but if I want to have any chances at getting any jobs whatsoever I figure I'll at least need decent skin so what do I do
i already have a rotation following the advice in the faq

For anyone looking for fragrance suggestions, give as much information as possible about what you want. Helpful info could include gender, price range, climate/season, need (work/clubbing/etc.), notes/families you like/dislike, and other perfumes you've tried and liked/disliked.
Can I get more input on this:

Would $150 be enough?
Is Tom Ford Grey Vetiver really worth more than twice the price of Guerlain Vetiver?
Why do people still come here on a regular basis seeking support from a board that doesn't actually know the first thing about fashion and is literally a bunch of trend-hopping (see hypebeast) faggots?
I see so many idiotic opinions being thrown around on this board and it is quite literally painful to read. You hear anything with wave after it or read about some new trend and you instantly jump on the bandwagon and actually think you're different from any normie on the street (hint: you aren't).
Another thing I've noticed is the fact that a lot of you like to add "meme-x" to plenty of different types of clothing in order to point out how overdone it is etc meanwhile you're just one of many faggots wearing the exact same palewave or rick owens outfits that don't differentiate or incorporate anything you value in fashion into them which brings up the main problem: most of you have no fucking identity. Fashion is about expression and creativity not about following what others do exclusively and forcing a niche where you can fit in and feel cool.
Now, this doesn't apply to all of you, some of you have legitimately creative ideas and approaches to fashion but the vast majority need to do a lot of thinking, why are you dropping thousands of dollars to look like the next faggot who thought copping the exact same template outfit was a good idea?
Be yourself, stop being sheep, git gud.
>>11369561
OP you're about 75% fucking retarded and 25% completely correct. Everyone here dresses like they're over 30 and no-one over 30 is a hypebeast. Rick isn't played out, and everything everyone wears here is nowhere near played out in real life. You're just imagining the public as if they all dressed like /fa/ does.
I agree with the last part though, everyone should have their own dressing sense and not just go with what others wear in order to feel special.
>>11369572
I don't know where you live, I live in western europe and half of the fits I see here I also see on a regular basis on the streets being worn by 13 year olds.
The shit posted here might be cool and original if you live in fucking kentucky but nowhere else in the world is half of this shit considered creative, especially not when a lot of "inspo" on this board boils down to copying fits.
>/fa/ is one person
Please stop this meme anon
I realise 95% of this board is utter shite, I come here for that good 5%
