Is it possible to cut a t-shirt that is too long and make it look good ?
i don't have a sewing machine.

Of course you can crop your tee. However, you can't leave the edges untouched. If you don't have a sewing machine, learn some basic hand stitching, it's a useful skill to have. Then finish the edge by either folding or double folding it, you can also iron it down before you start sewing.

are flip phones fa?...what do you think when you see someone whip out a flip phone?
>>11390209
the same thing I think when anybody else gets out their phone
they must be really poor or a drug dealer
>>11390226
and this is based on what?90 percent of people that I know who make 6 figures rock flip phones.
hello, guys. /fit/ told me to come here for advice.
I've already lost 50 pounds & want to start dressing better as well.
>Pic related. What I wore today.
Appreciate any advice
Go back to /fit/ ham planet, you are too fat for this place!
>>11390139
Oops. I read sticky but what I want to know is if what I wore is okay basically
Don't take advice here. The best style is to dress like a popular kid in your area, if anyone here went to your area they'd be considered weird not cool.
Post timeless fits (will never get old)
>Shirt partially see through
>Boots look like shit

Man, I'm hungry now.
Are Dickies the best option for poorfag khakis/chinos/pants?
those look horrible on that model
dickies are made as cheaply as possible and they look it, but they are in style right now for some reason. i guess because broke ass sk8r bois wear them. just get secondhand chinos in a better brand
>>11389891
What's wrong with this fit? I think it looks good desu senpai
Khaki's aren't in style anymore unless there are elastic bands on the ankle parts.
Give me a new haircut and pair of glasses. I'm open to anything that will make me look better.
>>11389701
buzzcut
>>11389703
Are you the same guy from yesterday?
>>11389701
You really aren't a bad-looking guy, no homo.
Please, where to cop 'shia tees'? Tight neckline crewnecks with flowy cropped torso
Also, best tee (no hype/trend)?
I'm pretty sure most of his stuff is thrifted
>>11389671
At least where to get the fit. I have an idea, I'm going to any store into the childrens section and try on a size XLL tee, maybe get those proportions.
>>11389665
I've got a few t-shirts like that. They're shit quality mediums that shrunk in the laundry. The neckline and length of a small with the width and roominess of a medium. Looks fucking terrible, but also not bad.
Can we get some normcore style inspiration?
Sorry but normcore is uninspired shit that provokes no emotion and shouldn't even be discussed.
Fuck normcore
>>11389490
What emotions does this provoke?
>>11389490
fuck this expensive romantic "i'm soooo sad" garbage
Thoughts on army jackets as a fashion?
>>11389335
I don't think that pic is a good example of how a military/field jacket can be utilized in a fit.
I think the outfit in pic related is put together much better.
amry surplus stuff is always really cool man
It can work with certain styles, just don't expect surplus to be fitted unless you get it tailored.
I'm starting a job tomorrow that requires me to wear a suit.. but its retail and the work is selling suits and tuxes. I feel like getting too dressy for it would be lame, given how comfortable my regular style is.
I was wondering if anyone has suggestions for acceptable styles, but ones look more relaxed with stuff like cotton and linen in them.
I can go with or without a jacket and friday/saturday are casual days.
On your first day go in with a jacket. See other employees and take note how they dress.
>>11389314
Ah i dont have a suit right now. Im waiting to be on the payroll so i can get discounts. So the dresscode til then is a dress shirt and pants.
I see how they dress, I dislike it. Vests and wide ties. When i get the suit I was thinking black or charcoal in linen with white shirt and 2 inch tie.
>>11389330
If you see them dressing as you described, it's best to just follow. They're more experienced then you and it's best to follow. Maybe just having a tucked-in button down will do in some occasions
Are t-shirts coming out of style?
Haven't seen many people wearing them recently.
Post outfits without t-shirts for inspo, pic related.
T-shirts aren't something that goes in or out of style...
>>11389277
no, staple items don't go out of style
maybe people are a little less hyped about meme t-shirts
>>11389283
why? it's clothing like any other
I'm sick of my socks not lasting very long.
I figure, if I buy tube socks, and just make sure to rotate the socks whenever I wear them, then the socks will last longer. (2 * pi * radius of the sock) / (width of my foot) longer
Does this make sense?
Just get a few pairs of Darn Toughs and never buy socks again.
LMAO
Yeah just buy work or military socks. I really like the bamboo ones for winter
>>11389250
Get yourself some non-cotton socks. Your feet will thank you, and even though they'll seem comparatively expensive, they'll not only be infinitely more comfortable, but they'll last years.
Check out Smartwool or as mentioned >>11389258
>Darn Toughs
from the great state of VT.
Plus,
>white socks
is this /fa/shionable?
