Read through the FAQ, it's very helpful for starting off. You should eat somewhere between 500-1000 calories less than you do now, to lose 1-2 lbs per week respectively. More toward 2lbs/week at the beginning, and more toward 1-lbs/week as you get below a bmi of 20 or so.

Get measured by a pro.
You'll need at least shoulders/chest/hips/arms/arm width for the jacket, hips/waist/length/leg width for the pants.

Once you have the measurements, it's easier to navigate the shops and you can even go off the rack.
Learn what can be tailored afterwards, and what can't - if the jacket fits at the shoulders, but is too big overall, you can PROBABLY alter it to fit.
