It's a mushroom stem, actually. The second ref I found does help show that.

As for the color job, it's pretty nice. Might not be perfect, but the bits of shadow and shading you use compliment each other well enough. Can't really think of anything that really stands out as an issue.

Got this drawn for me. Would love it if someone colored it, and did a thourough job at it. Also if the lines were a smidge thicker, that would be excellent. But keep the dialogue in bubbles. Or don't color over the words.

Not OR but since it's your first I wanted to give some feedback.

Personally, I think it's very good for a first time. I feel that the color scheme you have used for the body could have been just a tad more vibrant, and some elements in the picture (like the sun rays) a bit brighter -- that way those elements get to stand out from the rest of the picture a bit more (colorscheme-wise) and the whole thing just comes a bit more alive overall. The extra detail you've put into the eye, inflatable ring, and the added sun rays is a very nice touch.

Hope you'll be doing some more, you definitely have the talents. Plus, it's always good to have more colorfriends around these parts.

Also, I'd love it if the pubes peaking out of her bikini bottoms could receive color attention of some sort as well. However, I do realize that a few quick lines around her crotch aren't much to work with, and as such I totally understand if the request fulfiller cannot find a way to make her bush look appealing. If that indeed proves to be the case, I would like to request that the pubes simply be erased from the image before coloring.
