Hey DIY, do any of you know what the mechanism in the aperture (pic related) is called ? Any suggestions on what else I could look up on google are greatly appreciated. I've googled Aperture mechanism and images come up of what it looks like but I would like to know what it's called because I want to do it myself for a project... If that's impossible, do some of you know where I can get such a mechanism cheaply? I would be really grateful. Thanks!

Head chopper.
Honest question, do tripfags not know how to google? because I spent two minutes and found what the mechanism was called.

Nothing turns up for Head chopper for me.
Sorry for using the tripcode, I just use it when I make a thread to confirm OP-ness.

Too expensive. If it's over 5 $ I want to do it myself

A camera at a thrift shop is not going to be more then 5 bucks,
nevermind DIY.
Found it.
