Could i make safe tattoo ink by mixing glycerol and crushed wood

Most materials for doing tattoos are cheap, especially ink.
Yet people STILL regularly post here asking how to make ink.

I am not in prison, no. But supplies here are hella expensive, and i'm still in training. So i don't have a lot of funds to spend. I'm from a pretty poor country, and all the prices are EU standard. I have heard of pencil graphite ink and sut ink, but this seems as the safest way to make it.
