My Sharp TV has this display problem (this is it playing a pure white video.) At first I thought it was an LED back light failure, so I took it apart and all of the LEDs were working with the same voltage through them too. I don't know what else could be the problem. Any ideas?
Sure looks like backlight, if they are fine I'm all out of ideas sorry.

if its not the back light then its the BL module

Is that something that can be replaced? Is there a way to verify?
If you saw each of the backlight leds lit then i can assum that you took at least some of the panel its self apart.
What you have there is the polariser layers not in correct order to reflect the light out of the front of the panel.
if it's not that then it will be ineven pressure across the back of the panel and polaraiser layers.

maybe its y our tcon board?
If it was the tcon there would be no picture, most tv sets also won't turn on if the tcon is not working correctly.
