That bearing looks way out of alignment. the blade guides and the bearing all appear to be on the one piece of metal, if the locknut is undone can that assembly be moved to realign it to the blade?

I can only move it backwards and forwards. I can't see how to adjust it left and right.
I've lost the manual, their customer service is closed and their website sucks.

What if I just don't use the bottom guide roller? I'll adjust the other guides very well.

The display has 14 pins , it is not like in the picture . The project is not made for hvac equipment , but anyway I used a voltage divider between the thermistor and GND . It will just be plugged by usb in laptop .

Pink just has an anti-static coat.
This keeps the foam from building a charge but not the component.

Black is conductive and anti-static, which dissipates any charge in the foam or component, as it is hard to have a potential difference, if the whole thing is conductive to itself.

Scrolls saws and jig saws are actually one of the safest types of shop tools. You are very unlikely to get anything more than a nasty cut with them. They don't take off fingers or anything like that. While that diy thing is pretty ghetto its not like its missing the safety gear of a real saw. They generally don't have any. I mean, what are you gonna do, put a guard on it?

Oh and a guard won't work well because you need to turn the work piece. Unlike what is done with a table saw for instance.

OP onyx only has a Moh hardness of 7.0. Carbide is like 8.0 Clearly you need some sort of diamond bit, or carbide bit. the easiest way would be a dremel and one of those like 13 dollar diamond bits. drill half way on one side, flip over drill to the half way point on the other side. keep going for the hole size you want.

BTW aluminum oxide has a Moh of 9 so you can use wet/dry sand paper to clean up the hole and make it shiny again.

Slot machines are computers now. There is no easy sort of manipulation you can do now that won't be detected or just cause it to crash. The only manipulation is around finding bugs in the program that aren't published and are patched quickly.

As far as bulb testers as intended? No idea. They are high voltage low current electicity. Never thought about if they are blasting enough noise to make the FCC care because they are usually novelties and couldn't really be tracked if you're only clicking it on one a month or once a year to do a science experiment for your class.

Oh I don't have any interest in using them for slot machines spoofing. I just want to bullied them and sell them as a side hustle to my engineering job. A seller on ebay that I looked into made a few thousand dollars selling them in about two weeks.

My only concern would be if some dumbass got caught with one in a casino and then having the FBI ask him where he got it from. I assume if they're listed as being for educational or recreational use they're okay then?

Ive built a handheld coilgun before (pic related) for a school project out of disposable camera parts and from what I can see its pretty much the same principles. I realize this thread my be a bit off topic for DIY purposes since I'm talking legal stuff but I'm extremely curious about this

You can flash it with NodeMCU or compile a custom firmware. Either way, I've created some automated scripts that build all required tools in a convenient VM. You can find those on GitHub.com/Idorobots/esp8266-ansible

planks of wood like pic related. put cinder blocks on top of wood planks.

Supports directly under each end should help, unless that curved shape does something strange to the FBD. Alternatively the wood and cinder blocks seems pretty foolproof if somewhat heavy handed.

I forgot to mention that making the supports into a more triangular configuration will help with lateral movement but likely will not do much for vertical movement.

Perhaps a solar powered heating pad inside and a thermostat? Though, you want the heat inside to be slightly warmer than the outside air to prevent condensation as night. Aside from that, those Indicating Moisture Absorbing Silica Gel things might work well if it is a small area. You'll need to replace them from time to time. I had a 110V arc welder given to me, used it twice, now it collects dust. It worked well with the remaining specialty rod that came with it, getting that rod was expensive compared to the rod i use for my 220v, and that rod worked like crap in the 110v.

if your going to buy an arc welder get a 220v. if you want something 110v get a mig welder with flux core.

Your rod selection for 110v if it draws 15amp or under is limited and when i looked at it 10 years ago expensive.
