I have an AK platform bayonet, and the metal is fucking hard. Apparently a normal knife sharpener won't work so is there any other household way of effectively sharpening this thing without ruining it?

Hey mate i did it, it was out of necessity as my old office chair was all torn up and falling apart. So i had 2 seats laying around for a car im building and used 1 of em for my office chair. Havent got a pic on my phone but used an isotta talladega seat, came up really nice.

if its waterproof material then obviously a standard orinter isnt going to cut it as the ink wont be able to penetrate the material to stick. best bet it to laminate it after printing. as long as its laminated properly and sealed it will remain 100% waterproof

But I would try packing it tight with fine dirt or something similar, then drill it as slow as possible with a small bit while keeping it wet to collect the glass dust

Use a pointy rock

Plasticene or Blu tack ring around where you want the hole. Fill with light oil - cooking oil will do. Masonry bit at low speed. Scraping some grit off sanding sheets into the oil will help.

First order of business is to pull the pickguard up and see how the routing looks.
A lot of those cheap guitars have swimming pool routing which obviously isnt going to work with a EVH replica.

And as for installing a 2 pivot bridge on a 6 screw pivot body, you can just drill the outer holes bigger to install it.

Painting it really is as simple as laying tape and spraying. It cant be that hard to figure out what order of paint to tape to get your desired results.

For paint, the biggest thing I think is the order of the colors.

I'd basecoat it in black, white mid coat, and then red for the top coat.

You'll paint the entire thing black, let it dry entirely, put tape down everywhere you see black/want to see black. Then paint it white and let it dry.. Put your tape down where ever you want to see white (coverage on each of these layers will be a bitch btw...maybe use selfpriming for that extra color thickness?)...then paint the fucker red.

Pull your tape, buff your layers down, then throw a clearcoat over it.

As for a template, just print out a picture of it in black and white and full sized (will have to be printed across multiple sheets).

Targets look like pic related. You want a clear background because we're using standard Olympic style sighst, so no magnification, and a diopter and the rear and a globe sight at the front. I'll post the gun we're using next.

What I want is a similar setup for airguns for indoor winter practice. We're using standard 10m olympic-style target airguns, with the exact same sights as the full size guns. Now, the downside is that all the airgun bullet traps currently in use don't have a clear backing plate, which means it's not 100% similar to the fullsize shooting we're practicing for.

Pellets are standard lead 4.5mm/.177'' flathead diabolo's shot from several different airgun models, all in the 10J range.

nah, i kinda like it. it's not a stressful job, has adequate benefits, is an absurdly easy commute and yea, i do like helping people.

Also used to work there. Job was pretty decent. Liked co-workers. Hated management. Left because they couldn't pay me enough to stay.
