I have found layout like this. Which spots should I connect 'left', 'right' and 'ground' from my computer audio?

Your speaker thing is using a usb connector out of spec.

A fairly safe assumption is that it still uses the +5v and ground pins as normal so you could charge your box thing with any standard usb outlet.

The line in presumably runs on the data pins then. Ground is ground. Left/Right goes to data- and data+ respectively. Or reversely. There's no real way to tell without experimentation, and most sound cards will just let you flop the channels if you get it backwards on your connector.

Easy as pie. Just take the audio cable for your pc, cut one end off of it, strip the ends of the wires so the copper is showing, solder them on to an analog to digital converter, then solder the ADC to an audio over USB digital module. Finally, connect the audio over USB module to a mini USB cable and you're done.

You'll probably need a 5v supply, some breadboard, the ADC chip, the audio over USB chip, some assorted caps and resistors, and possibly some jumper wire too.

About the oldest substantial tool I have is pic related but mine is red.

i have lots of hand tools that have been passed down a few times so plenty of shit that dates back to the early 1900s. might be some even older but without any date stamps it's hard to know for sure

When I need a tool I hunt for them in yard sales and antique shops. I think the oldest thing I have a Universal #2 Food Chopper (Landers, Frary & Clark) and wood planer, both from the late 1800s and tons of stuff from 1900-1950.

You have to go to the extremes.

Buy the most basic 2 speed dremel 200, they usually last well with abuse, but there are some bad ones that shit out. For 40$ its fine, its pretty much baseline.

Then from there any extra money you spend doesnt get you shit. No return on your extra money until you get way up in price.

If you want something that will last, get a Foredom.
But at that price point you are looking at entry compressors and die grinders.

The 18v cordless lithium saws are very capable saws.
The question doesnt make sense though, a professional is obviously going to use corded tools for money cuts and other important stuff.

The tools are for when you need to make a cut when you are not near your corded stuff, where taking a cord would be hard or dangerous.

And yes, its justifiable to some depending on the trade.

I personally use cheapest chinese ones for my diy-ing. Also found a supply for the angle gears so if they crap out for some reason i just replace them.
For pro, makita or pro line of bosch (cheaper one are even worse than cheap chinese one...) Hilti makes great equipment also.

Just pick a price range and buy one.
The dirt cheap Harbor Freights ones last, so if you jump to a 50-100$ one by a big name youll be fine.

FWIW I ended up with a milwaukee after my harbor freight one died, and its handled a lot of use and abuse.
