As for solutions, maybe cover the floor surface of the work area with some heavy-duty plastic tarps, and then build some kind of clay or ceramic playform on top of that? It should be heat resistant enough, and you can just smash it up when you have to vacate the industrial space.

A pressure washer with medium (like sand stuff). it's like sand blasting the shit clean.

That's the main reason, I'll be teaching classes and having customers come in who might be spending thousands of dollars (lets hope) on the shiny things I've made there. Presentation goes a long way to those types of people. If they think I'm slumming it in my workspace, they won't as easily be able to justify the cost.

How hard is it to build a soxhlet extractor and source good quality butane to make THC containing resins?

DIY chemistry is not socially acceptable anymore. Most reactions are profoundly complex anyway so you'd be better off at least taking a community college run-down in the interest of not poisoning yourself or others but chances are you won't have access to chemicals or instruments anyway. If you don't have the drive to at least pick up a book concerning some particular reaction or any of the voluminous writings of chemists i wouldn't bother with any of the above.

get rid of all that shit before a dinosaur lays eggs in it. go buy a dozen or so concrete blocks and make a new u-shaped ring. dick it out so it's about 6" deep in the middle. depending on how much you use it the bricks will begin to crack so you'll have to spend a few bucks a year replacing the dead ones. you might want to make it a couple bricks high as well, up to you

What kind of tools do you have? Do you have an electric drill, a hand saw, a tape measure, screws, sandpaper, etc...? Do you have scrap wood lying around? I don't think it would be very comfortable to rest my hands on un-sanded plywood or MDF.

some stuff I found experimenting with t-shirt making

most cost effective screen printing is buy the screen material yourself and build a wooden frame from scrap wood .

you can buy stuff that you can paint your design onto the screen then cover whole screen with another type of solution which will turn your screen into a stencil . screen fluid?? something like that

discharge paste is interesting stuff, if you paint or print it onto black fabric allow to dry and then iron it will remove the colour from the fabric where you have painted . this can be useful for designs or you could for example lay loads of discharge paste on a t shirt and then print onto the lightened part with another colour .

if you do art have you come across " lino printing " ? this is where you carve a design into a piece of linoleum and then put ink on it and put onto paper . I did this in art class and it turns out you can use it on fabric pretty well . the good thing is that youre piece of lino is re usable so it may take time to make but it will last forever

think theres stuff on instructables as well . have fun

The kit itself doesn't matter as much, you can even build one. The fact that the inks are nearly 30 per tub of quality is going to be costly depending on the complexity of your designs, so maybe stick to black or simple tones for now. Also how are you making your screens? Emulsion, modge podge, etc?

I found that with vertical growing you needed to compartmentalize the levels individually. You can't allow water to flow from the top to the bottom. Otherwise, it becomes very dry at the top and always soaking wet at the bottom. Keep the vertical distance of the soil to about 2.5-3 feet or less.

Before you go making too many beds on your balcony, you gotta understand that they are built to undergo a certain load, dirt, water, that shit is a heavy perminet load so you don't want to build anything that's too big, spreading it out so that some is on the wall in a vertical garden and having a few small planters on the balcony itself, just don't go overboard and have a full vegetable garden spread out over your entire balcony

used to work on a wagon that went around collecting the rubbish for the council . ended up keeping loads of stuff and I still take stuff if its out for the collections

I have on many occasions salvaged bikes . fixed them and re-sold . the best I have come across is a decathlon rockrider which i'm re building for myself for dem trails . Last week I found some rockshox forks that are going on it after I replace seals and change oil .

at one point I collected scrap metal but I don't bother with that any more because the price has dropped now china isnt buying the steel any more .

I still collect copper if I see a CRT t.v ditched on waste ground i'll kick the back off and take the good bits . a couple of us save it to pay for the xmas booze . anything with a wire we pull the wire off for copper . I once made a dream catcher out of different colored number 2 copper wire for my girlfriend

took a microwave to strip once . found it worked . resold for £15 every little helps

Carpeting onto concrete steps is pretty easy, there are adhesives and hardware made for it. People argue over which is more safe (carpeted or bare surface), but it's really personal preference.

Yeah, I'll definitely need handrails, but the staircase is pretty slim, so would need to be some smaller version.This is a fat shaming staircase.

I'm trying to make sure that things I build last, so I'm mostly building in concrete or metals. Can't use any wood or material that don't do well against damp environments.

Couple of things you can do here bunkerbro is look into concrete stains...lots of nice colours and stuff...

Other one is also concrete staining, but then a rubber pattern block thing is used to add some visual elements...

anyway, I found a can of spray-on PCB photoresist at the thrift store for a dollar. It looks pretty old, possibly 80s or older. Should it still be good? I have a darkroom already set up for developing film and prints and stuff, so my plan here is to take my camera and point it at my computer screen, get a nice sharp negative on a single sheet of film, then load that into my enlarger, allowing me to make as many copies of boards as I want without fucking around with ink transfer or printers or anything.
