Most large greenhouses do what you're describing, with fans every 7 feet or so on the side walls.

For winter heating you'll probably want to go with something reliable. I've seen commercial greenhouses use basically oversized radiators stretched along the walls. Maybe work out something like that where you pump hot water into a radiator.

Alaska isn't the best place to greenhouse due dark/cold autums-winters-spring. The cooling part is somewhat easy, large commercial greenhouses uses evaporate cooling, which is cheap. You can buy these supercheap from alibaba.com

You may want to look into chinese style greenhouses
They use an earth or brick wall to the north that adds insulation and thermal mass, so you have a longer grow season.
They usually have automated isolation covers for the nights, so the temperature stays up.

You can supplement the thermal mass by adding water containers in front of the north wall.
Bonus point for using them to grow fish and establish a aquaponic system.

For heating and light, you have several options.
Energy from the grid will cost you big time.
Solar will be mainly there, when you have enough light anyways, so you would need a big battery bank, that will be expensive.
A small scale hydro electric turbine could supply you with sufficient, reliable electricity run a big number of grow lamps, if you have a suitable stream nearby.
A biogas reactor can supply a gas powered generator which in turn produces electricity for lights, heat and even CO2
You can also build a rocket mass heater and use wood for fuel.

Another possibility is building a passive solar greenhouse adding isolated thermal mass underground and heating it up by pumping hot air from the top of the greenhouse inside, whenever the sun is heating up the air in your greenhouse.

Your air inlet should be going through a long pipe buried underground, so the air is preheated in winter and cooled in summer by the ambient temperature of the earth.

usually these kinds of exercises involve some sort of host-client type of thing, involving many interfaces and modules, so I suggest you make a website or something, such as a simple social media platform or shopping site.

I'm not familiar with the SSADM model unfortunately, and I don't know what sort of scope you're looking at for the project. I'm going to guess small to medium since it's for a class.

Maybe a media organiser, e.g. search by tag, mime type (with wildcard e.g. video/* for all videos in the database), keep a list of folders (spec'd by user) and auto-scanning them.

If you wanted to be really fancy you could figure out a way for it to (assuming the filename is descriptive enough e.g. "full metal jacket (1987).mkv") automagically pull the rest of the information about the media from IMDB or wikipedia (e.g. automatically add screenwriter, director, actors, etc. to the database)

The first glaring mistake is the cubby in front of the window. Get that moved somewhere else.

If the scene outside the window is decent, then put your workspace there if possible. Facing out a window while working increases productivity and mood.

Secondly, plants. Plants not only clean the air and regulate humidity, but they benefit mood.

Thirdly. You have a lot of unused space. Without a dimensioned layout, its hard to tell. But can your single bed fit against the entrance wall and closet wall? With the desk against the window youll have significantly more open space that isn't constrained by use items. In the open space put a bean bag chair or small comfortable chair to relax in.

Don't understand the first part (scribe veneer to a jig), but if I'm reading right about the 15mm MDF, it sounds like you have to just cut an angle, and it's veneered as well? Take a knife and a speed square, use the square to find your angle, scribe it fairly deeply on the veneer side so you don't tear it up, and try to keep the saw square (straight down) as you cut.

Heating the cast iron pan from the bottom is important. That way the heat will spread through the metal and radiate.

I've had great success making pizza in cast iron, but never done it in a solar cooker.

You might wanna try doing business locally on Craigslist before going "nationwide". Every time I've ordered something that came on a pallet shipping was like 200-400 bucks.

Build up some capital before you go all out. Hell, maybe use that those first couple of projects to increase your tool inventory. Miter saw, compressor, nail guns hell even more sanding discs.

Seriously though if possible having a part/full time job and and doing this after hours might be more financially feasible till you get a demand for your products to keep yourself afloat
