Do any of you guys sell the things you make? I used to do a ton of woodworking back when I was in high school but that was a hobby. Since I'm in-between jobs at the moment I have to keep myself busy so I've taken it back up. What is the best place to sell? Should I do it online? I make small kids toys, boxes, rings, etc. Tables and chairs too. Should I sell online? At a flea marker? I'm a Texasfag so there is a traders village place nearby.

Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated here.

Pic unrelated.

I want to take a machining class at the local community college in my spare time so I can make small parts like gun triggers. How hard is it to learn to machine metal?

>How hard is it to learn to machine metal?
not hard at all actually. most of the CNC software is pretty much a video game on crack.
>>
>>1147091
There is some subtlety to things, especially if you need to hit very tight tolerances or need efficient production, but it is quite straightforward at the basic levels.

The main problem is that useful CNC machines are very expensive, and mistakes are also very expensive.
>>
>>1147107
i'm pretty sure that any CNC machine at a community college is going to be an akira seiki or something else thats noob friendly.

also sure that any machine he learns on is going to have been crashed at least 100 times already.

This is the second forum I am attempting to post this in. For some ludicrous reason, the previous forums moderators deemed it unworthy.

my insurance dosent cover explants, so I am going to cut my implant out. However can't be rejected emergency care, so after cutting it, I will admit myself to ER (I live right next to a big god hospital.

So this is going to happen one way or another, tomorrow or this weekend. I would appreciate advice.

1. So I have a surgical knife, disinfective alcohol. I am going to makean incision in the ball sack where the skin is most thin. Should the incision be vertical or horizontal? Im thinking a horizontal might cut through many veins, but a vertical one is unlikely to cut exactly down any one single vein.

2. The scrotum has some kind of dividing membrane inside separating each ball. If I make an incision in the middle of my sack, will that break it? What's the damage?

3. What happens to the smooth muscles in the scrotum when it has a hole in it? Well regular surgery is made tht way, so it heals

4. Before I pop that prosthesis out,it was secured by a string when it was put in. Where is ths tied to? I will just cut it off.

5.After I pop it out, I want to fully clear the sack. I have some sodium chloride, salt water stuff and a small suction device the size of a straw. I will just rinse the sack thoroughly and suck out excess. Any problem?

6. Admit myself to hospital, get sowed back up professionally

I'm already cracking up thinking about how they're going to slap a wad of gauze on you and make you wait in the ER lobby for four hours, the whole time you'll be in excruciating pain, doubled over, moaning and about to pass out! Just because nurses and docs have a very /b/ sense of humor! Enjoy!

I have one of these showers but it seems to be failing, the water doesn't get very hot any more even though I can hear the element working. It actually seems to be hotter on the lower setting. The spring element is still intact but it's a couple of years old now. Is it worth replacing the spring or is the head just fucked?

Over at /toy/ it doesn't seem to be anything else but.. toys. And /o/ doesn't seem to fit either.

I think I have seen some rc threads here before.

was gonna buy one for my nephew and the prices were abit...lets say...more expensive than metal detector, so i went with that.
>>

I got it for 550usd~, several upgrades, battery, controller.

A good metal detector over here is about the same price, just a tad more expensive, used. But you're also a criminal if you use it.

I got my nephew a cheap but powerful rc car last christmas and I think I got more hooked than he did..

What's the cheapest material to fill a lucky dip with?

I've been thinking about sawdust or shredded paper, but I can't think of that many more materials, and I don't know which would be the cheapest. I would need enough to fill a 200 Litre drum.

So I'm getting ants in my apartment. They are almost entirely on my counter tops.

I have sprayed Ortho Home Defense Max in all the perimeters of the home. For the countertops I put lemon oil fucking everywhere.

That was a week ago, and I'm still getting these little fuckers.

Any tips?

Borax will get rid of them, there's a few recipes around to do it.
Cleaning surfaces down with a bit of diluted white vinegar also makes it un-appealing for them as well as messing with their scent trails.
>>
borax sugar and water, ratios aren't super important
soak a folded paper towel in it and leave it near where you think they're coming in
let them go nuts for it, replace or rewet it occasionally
they take it back and share it with the others and the queen and it fucks with their digestion and the whole colony dies within 2 or 3 days

I can't take a shit without my dick rubbing under the toilet seat and touching the rim.

And if I just hold my dick while I'm pooping I can't pee while I'm bending my dick at 90 degree angles so it doesn't touch the rim. I definitely can't poop if I've got a semi chub

I rent this house so I don't want to buy a whole new toilet.

Making Your Crystals

Boil the water
Stir in the sugar, a little at a time, until it no longer dissolves and there is a little at the bottom
Add a few drops of food coloring to the water, if you want colored crystals
Add the water to the jar
Tie the string to the butter knife
Set the knife on top of the glass jar so that the string hangs in the jar without touching the sides or bottom
Set the jar somewhere safe
Check back in a day and you should see some crystals already growing
Let the crystals grow until they have reached the desired size
Remove the string and allow crystals to dry

You will need
1 cup water
3 cups table sugar (sucrose)
1 clean glass jar
1 butter knife
String
1 pan or bowl for boiling water and making solution
1 spoon
Food coloring (optional)

How Do I Open A Small Door With Light Sensors?

Forge, air supply diagram.png

Hi /diy/.

Take a look at this diagram for the forge I intend on building. The cheap air pump I am using has only an on and off setting. This is not ideal as I want to be able to fine tune the air supply so as to control the fire level.

Therefore I am looking for suggestions as to how to do this, perhaps an adjustable valve of some kind?

>adjustable valve
yes
>>
>>1147309
I imagine that's greatly simplified, but it's gonna be a pain starting an air pump underground. An adjustable valve is just gonna put more stress on the pump, just get a cheap triac PWM that works at the pump's rated wattage/current. And that better not be PVC pipe. You might want to make the air come out more dispersed around the pit, both so that fuel doesn't get down the holes and so you can get air to the fuel all around the pit and not just in the centre. I'd also make it so you can inject a liquid/gaseous fuel into the airflow and have the thing run off that, pretty sure it's more economical than charcoal, but don't quote me on that. More economical than both is to get some nichrome wire and make the furnace electric, of course it can't go above it's melting point, which is a cosy 1400°C. You'll also need some sort of lid to stop the heat from getting out. But it will need a hole in the lid so the right amount of heat can get out if you do have a blower.

I can't see the part where anons are encouraged to get us to do their dirty work for them. How is anyone but OP supposed to know what sort of notebook he wants? There are plenty of templates out there for both the dimensions, such as pic related, and for notebook covers. Or are you complaining that I didn't censor my pencil dong on a blue board?
