Possession is best if there are visible phisical changes like expansion. Hard to find thou... :(

Has anyone had any luck with running/translating any of the Japanese possession games? Either RPG Maker, visual novels, or other?

I can't seem to get them to work. The only thing I was able to do was extract the text of Boku no Hyoui Taiken and then post it into Google Translate. It works, but it's really tedious, and you have to be extra careful you don't miss any lines, since the text isn't saved. And some of the Japnese RPG Maker games just flat-out don't work.

If anyone has any advice for this stuff, it would be appreciated. Here are the games I really want to try out.

Sisters Possession-SRPG. You die and end up possessing your sister's body, and you recruit other units by possessing them.

As for translating, well... I don't have a single clue where to start and how to do it right.
Also I suck at editing images. (never even tried to do that right)
I supose guides are all over youtube though, still... for a complete newb in that department, it's probably utterly confusing with the terms and all. I'd would need a dictionary next to a manual.

I can however explain to you that there are tools which can decrypt projects and enable access through the project editor of the said engine. You can then copy/paste all of it to an english version of the engine. (so that you no longer need to deal with the system locale thing) Still, translating all of it will be tricky, especially when you want to ensure it would work on any pc, before repacking.

And actually I did manage to run TSRPG once, but yeah, language issues.

You should probably look around at tfgamesite.com if you want to find some english versions of such games. (they don't have that one though)
Perhaps there are some people however that can help with the translation.
Else, hongfire's forums. They also have those kinds of stuff and translators.

Sorry, forgot to mention, you need the japanese RPG Maker dll file that comes with the Run Time Package.
In case of TranSEXperience however you need to have RGSS301.dll in the standard installation folder. RPG Maker VX Ace oddly doesn't care what version of it you have and the game version it runs on, they all use the same dll. RGSS301.dll,
The only difference is, the japanese version of this dll can search through folders with UTF-8 characters in their names.
So the reason why TranSEXperience is not working is probably because of the folder name and file names.
You can overcome this by changing your system locale and installing the approperiate language packs.
Emulating the system locale here is not enough, because it grabs files from places that aren't emulated in the locale, even when the executable is. xd

Uhhh, so? The kind of demonic possessions seen in most *live-action horror* movies is veeeeeerrry different from the sort of silly/sexy/campy/Twilight-Zone-ish female possession stuff that can be found here. Especially the sexual stuff that gets done after the possession is lacking probably to appease audiences.

When I think about what get me into female possession as a fetish, not a single horror movie is to blame. In fact when I think about them, I find them all distinctly unsexy (possessed girls usually become ugly and the demon doesn't even care about its new lady bits). Possible exceptions exists, like "The Hidden 2", but that's possession by an alien! Ghost Busters had one but it bothered me that the demon was uninterested in its new host body, plus the movie is 32 years old!

tl;dr version: Is there any movie with a _sexy_ demonic female possession scene? Did any of you get into this stuff because of a demonic possession scene? For me the answer is no in both cases.
