I haven't seen that comic posted in a while. Hope there's some new content on the horizon.

I've been keeping an eye on this story called Hush on TGstorytime. The transformation is in the second or so chapter, and the main character also becomes mute as a result.

He's kind of an abrasive narrator, and while it's obvious he's going to go through an arc and come out a better person on the other end, that might be a little off putting at first. Still, the writing is decent on the whole so I'm willing to give it a shot.

I am way, way, way behind Welcome To Saturn Beta. I might just have to wait until it finishes and read through the rest of it then, but that's a great one to check out if you haven't already. TG with a neat little sci fi setting and top quality writing.

He's getting there. I tried nudging things in that direction with the "Now get out there, Violet Taylor, and enjoy the rest of your vacation" line that he said to himself in the guest room.

For selfish reasons, though, I've always thought it was hotter when 3rd-person narrators refer to the TG'd main character as "he" for the vast majority of the story... even as the character fully accepts/embraces their life as a girl.
