Once wrote a request that wasn't very good in my opinion so I won't share it, but I will give out the scenario to see what /d/ thinks about it.

A girl goes to a beach and sees a classmate working out and bragging about how big she is. The main character says that she is the best at everything and doesn't have to work out to obtain the size that she wants. To prove this point she begins to grow. She continues to grow while claiming that she can still get bigger.

She surpasses skyscrapers, cities, the world, the solar system, the galaxy, the next closest Galaxy, and eventually gets stuck because she is the same size as the universe. She then claims that she can get even bigger.

The story then switches to the same girl staring into an electron microscope while the professor goes on about some theory stating that even an atom could hold a miniture universe inside of it.

The girl then notices two atoms being pushed apart as something grows in between them. She then hears a tiny voice yelling that they can get even bigger.

The story ends with the girl starting to grow as she looks down at the atom size girl and says that she hasn't seen big yet.

These kind of stories and imagery are more enjoyable to me - and I assume, I am not alone with that - if the represented characters are not just mere replicas with just the design but none of the mindset of the originals. It works both ways, though. A gentle character suddenly breaking into a rampage would be just as off-putting as a merciless, cruel person instantly becoming a softie for no apparent reason.

I personally prefer semi-accuracy. Like, most characters wouldn't do half the shit people here like, but if you exaggerate some existing qualities of the character, like playfulness or whatnot, so it's inaccurate but still "seems" like that character... I prefer this.

But I wouldn't go getting angry at people on /d/ over it, either. Whatever. It's a stupid argument.
