Holy shit, I just finished reading all that's been translated of Shishunki Bitter Change, and it's the best manga I've read in a while.

This was posted on /aco/ and some people kind of developed interest on writting stories based on this, so I guess that I will post here too and see what you guys think, to shake the thread up.

I will give some ideas for stories, some simple prompts, and you guys you formulate how it turns out, what happens to make them be gender bended, HOW the TGed characters would look like and which kind of mental changes they would have ot not. Basically how you would like it to develop.

I like this, but I would rather make the boy have 14/15 years old, and the one that gets TGed instead, while the others are college aged.

Meh. I gave it a read and enjoyed it, but I'd say it's just serviceable. It skirts being good, some of the scenes are good, but the pace is so fast and the characters outside of the MCs are pretty flat and forgettable.

That said, having a comic that actually commits to the swap over the course of years and years is pretty cool. I just think it could be so much better, but it's content being alright.

I played this VN before. It's loaded with good MC content, there's a couple other scenes with cross dressing involved too. Too bad it'll never be translated unless MG pulls off some kind of miracle.

The GB route is fairly standard, you have the option to mind control a bully into transitioning genders and fall in love with the MC. If you're into mind control scenes, there's a scene where the character is fighting against it and failing, going slowly from masculine to feminine language.

Bounties sometimes work, but you generally need a million credits for short translation, and because anyone can claim them the quality is very uncertain. There were more commissioners for hire before, but Fakku poached the famous/best ones and several quit offering commissions. It'similar to how Crunchyroll killed fan-sub groups, and now you're stuck with only one translation source.

They haven't stopped translating Bitter Change, they are just waiting until the book comes out so they can get better quality images.

I can recommend a few, but I'm not sure how easy any of them would be to understand without some knowledge of Japanese or a willingness to tolerate text hook translations. The vast majority of free Japanese TF games are made in RPG Maker or Wolf RPG (basically a free version of RPG Maker) so avoid them if you dislike that kind of thing.

I'd just like to define genderbender for a moment. It is the shifting of perspective from one gender to the other. Physically or mentally. Though without the physical aspect it's more of a common mental illness/issue than a valid porn story, so I wouldn't tag that given an option at all.

Transformation, body swapping, possession, and body suits may all cause gender bender. None of them are inherently required.
But a split personality simply is that gender already. So unless it causes conflict by pushing its gender on the other personality, or physically changes sex which it takes over, it does not really count.

I couldn't put them on a 1-10 scale of validity, because each of them can fall anywhere on that scale depending on context and relevance. They're causes, not the genderbender conflict itself.

It was always clothes at first. Cute clothes, how they fit the female body, and how it was always portrayed in stories as embarrassing for boys to wear them.

Cluedog's art and Morpheus' stories are probably my favorites. Unfortunately neither really do anything anymore. Cluedog rarely posts TG sequences and Morpheus' stories (when he posts), are way too long and aren't really my cup of tea. My preferences have changed pretty drastically over the years, but their old stuff really holds up well.

I'm not sure if it was specifically Ranma, but the series definitely did play into the development of the TG thing for me. I also feel like the series was written (probably more by accident than intent) in a way that makes the characters pretty ideal for fan works, which is why it's probably still something I keep in mind.
