How pedantic are you shits? So far, the only thing I've heard about the "OG" shrink high in terms of its story was that it existed and that it was "somewhat darker" despite the plot being threadbare by most accounts.
You don't need stats to tell you that more people speak English and can't speak Japanese in the western fucking world, everyone knows this already, and this place is no exception. If even 10% of you fucks could read fluent Japanese, I'd be surprised (and disappointed considering we have like, what, 3 resident translators total? And maybe 1-2 casual ones?)
Even the most vehement OG defenders can only say that the only OBJECTIVELY bad thing that Dsojourn added into Shrink High was a few poor quality CGs hidden in secret areas that barely made up more than 1% of total CGs. At worst, what Sojourn did to SH was a sidegrade in terms or quality, and at best, in my opinion, was a significant upgrade.

Because true and full immersion was clearly the goal of Shrink High. I doubt that to even be the case in the original.

I won't argue with the loli content removal; it was a shitty thing to do. But it was 1 CG that could still be accessed in the game files, and it was done so that MUCH more people could have access to the game.

In terms of elaboration, I already told you the issues that I perceived the original had: threadbare writing, plot, and character development, along with an overall sheer lack of dialogue in comparison. You want me to be more specific? From what I've heard, V-D is just a vaguely tsundere skeleton in the original, and that's telling considering she's supposed to be the main antagonist.

For what my 2 cents are worth, I have played both versions of Shrink High, and here is my opinion.

SH OG was designed to be a JPRG with a very high difficult quotient, with some interesting gameplay elements as well as a few 'choices' to make.

On the other hand, the story, the bantering and the humor (as well as few of the CGs) were entirely added by Dsojourn, who simplified the difficulty level and removed some gameplay elements.

What I am talking about:

- OG had the choice between Kyon and Koizumi, who had magical powers (Ice, Fire all the way to transforming into an ESP ball)

- OG had some nice gameplay touches that showed but not exposed, like the girls who could eat shrinkies during a fight to regain health, or pick Chijinda & Co up to make them impossible to fight (like getting kicked out of screen). The first time you met Mia and she tried to stomp you, she was much faster than the other girls and there was no countdown timing for the first minute or so, making it much more dangerous.

- OG had no stapler to halve enemy stats but there was a lottery item to walk much faster, which was removed in the translated version

- Caanan's name is not 'Kanon' and she is not a security expert, but a biotechnology genius

- Dsojourn added Mia's backstory, the witch, all sort of cultural references into the dialogue and pretty much created the personality of the antagonists (the Four Queens plus VD, plus a mysterious 'blonde teacher', as well as some elements from Narue) from scratch.

If I remember correctly, OG was so bare-bones that Lady Masque had like one line.

Now, for those who bothered to play Gaiden, which I am in the minority that paid for and liked, and was bogged down by the disastrous commercial decisions by i-Raf-You, who spent all their budget on voice acting and did not deliver on the quantity of CGs nor on the price point, the personality of the queens and Mia is pretty much based on what Dsojourn had created. That is no small feat

I did not feel that way at all; none of them had outlandish personalities that leave the realm of generic eroge that anyone could come up with should the need to create a game with a plot like Gaiden come up.
More to the point, though, it raises a few baffling questions like how and why Raf would've played through the same lengthy game in a language he can't understand (not just speculation based on being Japanese- his English actually is very poor) but also stopped short of using the localized names while he was already supposedly there and had likely not contacted DSojourn regarding this to begin with which would've been the logical choice if he was too lazy to craft his own personalities for some reason.

How much closer did Gaiden's characters line up with Dsojourn's than the OG's character personalities? If its significantly, it seems very unlikely to be a pure coincidence. Raf's English may be poor, but he didn't create Gaiden by himself- he had a TEAM, perhaps one of the people on said team heard about L SH and gave him some suggestions? Its not an unlikely situation, and holds just as much weight as "he just happened to create rather similar characters on his own, from scratch, while a version of this game has existed out there with very similar characters to what he had in mind"

The Japanese are very honorable about this thing is what I'm saying. Every small assistance would've been listed in the credits, especially if it's taking so much from a completely unrelated work in a different language. There were scenario writers besides Raf in the credits, all of which are of course Japanese with seemingly little English skills which have either helped Raf in his earlier works or have been writing size stuff in general before this. If Dsojourn was actually a source of influence he wouldn't have been 100% omitted and unmentioned anywhere.

Ok it might be a little harder than I thought since evidently the version of the game floating around is still compressed and doesn't have a project file you can just open up.

You need a program, the one I used was RGSSAD - RGSS2A Decrypter.exe, so you can actually get at the data, then you need to somehow import it all into an RPG Maker VX project, find the girl in the game (I think she's in the Yaibaize Main Area (End) map or something) and modify it from there so she can be interacted with.

The only thing blocking her from being used from what it looks like is an extra empty event page being used as her main action, with the rest of the event on page two triggered by an unflippable self-switch. You just delete the blank page and get rid of the switch.
