The linework might be sketchier, the anatomy might be dodgier and the coloring and shading might be simpler, but that old stuff can push buttons just like anything else and it's neat to go back and see where an artist's come from. Hose-enema type images that usually get me are the ones that imply that they aren't going to stop pumping more in at any time. I don't usually care for enemas on their own- it's more about punishment, and it isn't really punishment if her belly isn't sticking out many more inches than it usually does. Anyway, my thoughts on air inflation... I imagine it would be less uncomfortable overall? Unlike with liquids, there's less weight and less resistance; plus the bonus of even quicker flow. A girl will feel her stomach stretching and expanding, but with much less feeling of sloshing weight and pained discomfort. It takes longer- and more- to reach discomfort, and it comes more due to the tightness of her round, bouncy belly and the pressure.

I may as well continue my pondering. I've been thinking of doing a short story around the game-show idea in >>6992857 , where a girl gets a little too cocky and confident in her luck and ends up taking the largest enema on the show's record. The idea is pretty simple- there's an ever-increasing chance that she'll hit a "lose" space on a wheel, and the other spaces have monetary values. If she reaches a certain milestone, she wins a huge prize on top of all the money. She can take the money and run at any time, too. Elements I've been thinking on are:
1. The enema tank being visible to her the whole time. The more money she wins, the more full it becomes. The crowd seems to love when she adds a huge amount to it, but it becomes clear they just want to see her get greedy and end up bent over and filled to capacity.

A) Risk vs reward and uncertainty: Already mentioned, but when you think about the particulars and variables of inflation there's a lot more than simply the possibility of getting a bad outcome and having a ton of stuff pumped into you: you've got the subdivision of inflation into gas and liquid-based, and then with those you've got all the particulars of the exact substance being used. Imagine if you were spinning a results wheel and besides the possibility of being inflated even more what was already inside of you could be changed instantly based on one perameter or another, like going from liquid water to water vapor (which would feel less heavy overall, but would need more space and thus blow you up a bit) or changed to gelatin (slightly heavier and of course more solid but also jiggley as fuck) or butane (about half the weight at the same volume at stp) all the way up to extremes like mercury (13 times the weight) or hydrogen (say goodbye to your clothes 'cause you're about to tear them to shreds).

B) Conflict with others: Seeing someone get foiled by greed and bad luck is fun, but even better is watching it happen to someone at the hands of another. Among other outcomes on the wheel, you'd have the chance to affect others as well as yourself, whether it's changing their own contents or shifting it from one person to another: you could for example spin a transfer result and depending on some other qualifying factor you could pass some of your filling to another player - or take that exact amount from EVERY OTHER PLAYER. And since people will remember what happens, you wind up with grudges where players specifically try to target others, especially if the wheel's such it's possible to spin for exact results.

C) Trials: Of course blowing up a cute girl is only half the fun, with the other being seeing how she deals with it and how it affects her in some situation or another, so throwing in some obstacle courses or other minigames of some sort is both a nice way to get exactly that and break up the format of the game a bit. It's also a nice chance to affect her in some unpredicted fashion (choosing the wrong answer in a puzzle and getting penalized with an extra liter or 3) or confront her with some element where her inflation's actually an asset (poor girl spun Helium during the previous round, but now she's so light she can just waltz past some obstacle that's problematic for more dense players) and could even have setups where she could botch things so badly that she can't even continue and loses by default...or worse, depending on your tastes.

D) Reception and reaction: Finally, of course, there's how the girl's feeling about the whole affair and likewise the audience, and these can be run with in plenty of directions. On the one side you've got the embarrassment and flustering that comes with being blown up like a balloon in front of a gigantic audience for their amusement, snowballing until it hits a tipping point and goes into full-on humiliation (like the aforementioned record-setting loss, or being forced to empty themselves in plain sight, or getting plugged up and having to carry around all that stuff in everyday life for however long, if not forever) with the audiance feeding on that, taunting her or even trying to throw her off to make her suffer more; on the other, you've got inflation as a ham-fisted allegory of arousal and feeling good, with the effects building the bigger she gets to the point where it might start distracting her, the audience feeding off that to get off in their own way, to the point where if there's a permenance "consequence" she finds that better than any actual reward, or to whatever end she winds up at.

This reminds me of a situation my mind once cooked up of a sorceress who owned a tentacle flesh cave trying to stretch her womb and belly enough to contain enough tentacle biomass to start a new flesh cave somewhere else. She would lay on a soft warm bed of flesh with her legs spread and tentacles holding and supporting her by her shoulders, thighs, and ankles to keep her from sliding around, while other tentacles would squirm though her vagina and begin coiling into a growing mass in her womb.
