Reposting Magical Deviant for great injustice. So who made this anyways, and are they still adding to it? I need more antagonistic CYOAs, too many subby/self transformative ones to count, I want to force my will unto others instead of trying to justify 'tricking' people like with enchanted /d/ rings.

There are of course alternatives to this CYOA, like Pill I suppose, but this one save for a few annoyances could be pushed further between a 'you versus dice-rolled magical girl' where she has particular powers and resistances and you'll be able to test your creative use of powers against them. I do find the recharge system interesting for example, but there is no context to what is either minor or major spells, only that it is an issue. Do I even need it?

I am of course, just going to make these little scenarios on my own anyways, but unlike suggesting random powers I'm not going to post them this time. Though I will mention I had to take some liberties with Touch and upgrade it into being able to change how feeling is interpreted to add erogenous zones where I need them.

Not that I'm aware off, but you can always use your imagination and adapt an existing CYOA to for it. With the Ring CYOA for instance you could make your own ring and play out the more feasible stuff like forced bondage gear, being plugged and such.
That or make your own CYOA, there are plenty of guides available on how to do that and I'm sure /d/ can help you come up with some ideas.

I haven't read any of this thread, but I'd like to offer some advice regarding CYOA's involving bodily changes to the reader.

Say we're reading a CYOA like >>6957378 / >>6957382 where the reader gets a different form. In most CYOA's, there comes a point where the author backtracks or "retcons" (for lack of a better term) some IMPLIED change. This happens when an earlier description SUGGESTS a change, but later the author clarifies that the change was not included. It's a tough thing to learn, but the best authors will form a solid imagination of the changes they have in mind and then describe the full extent AND limits of the changes from the get-go. This is true of any writing: the best authors won't only describe things vividly, but they'll describe them in a way that leaves little room for interpretation (at least as far as any key details are concerned).

This is kind of a stupid example because the "retcon" is nigh inconsequential, but it was the last one I read and it reminded me of the problem:

Essentially you get to change your body to however you want, but the form you select is permanent. Although it says "you won't need to do any of the usual work to maintain your body", it does not mention "hair" specifically.

Even small retcons can break the reader's immersion-- when someone goes through a CYOA, they use their imagination to build up a "story" of the "adventure". Imagine if you were reading a book and had to flip back to an earlier passage-- not good.

Author of the old succubus cyoa here. These threads rekindled my interest and so I'm starting on a new version.

The transformative aspects are going to stay pretty much the same, but I'm wanting to incorporate more 'gamey' mechanics and need ideas. It would be something along the lines of the classical [str, stm, cha, wil, etc] affecting abilities and modify part functions.

I plan on creating an excel file alongside the cyoa to tally up your points and give you the final values for your character.

I'll post some more about what I have planned for the lore today when I'm not busy. But please if anyone has any ideas related to worldbuilding, fetishes to include, or other mechanics, please let me know.

Entrapment/Misfortune fetishes are still fairly unrepresented. Having a weakness of getting turned to stone or another material under circumstances. Having a highly malleable body and subsequent weakness to smashing. Turning into a piece of clothing the last person you fucked compulsively wears until you return to normal.

Otherwise, I'd like a shapeshift-other power even if it's only something weak and requires multiple fucks to fully shift them into actually do something. This is part of what I have so far, still heavily WIP. I need help filling these out with interesting transformations.

The story here is that after your death, your conscious soul is selected by some demonic bureaucrat for your predisposition towards sin. Hell is expanding with its eyes set on new worlds, and in order to facilitate that, they need power. One of the most plentiful sources of this is sexual pleasure, which requires agents (succubus' and incubus') to collect.

Mechanically it's going to work like this: You are given a normal body as your 'base' and a number of points. It can be in any shape or form constrained only by what is normally possible for mortals. The only caveat is that you cannot stay in human form for the entire day, and the time you must be in demonic form is dependent on a myriad of factors.

You spend the points given to you on upgrades to your demonic form, which is split into 3 trees: Demonic, bestial and ethereal (corruption, furry, magic). These will provide you with dope abilities and points towards magic.

Stuff that I'm planning on doing but haven't gotten to yet: Magic, curses, sexual transformations/upgrades (I need a system to make these beneficial/rewarding to take, otherwise it just turns into fetish catering), different worlds with backgrounds that affect abilities, lair building, jobs/duties for hell, etc.

If you all have any suggestions or ideas for mechanics, worldbuilding, fluff, I'd really appreciate the help. After a weekend of working on this my inspiration is starting to run dry.

I always do it the other way around: come up with a bunch of cool abilities, then organize them into groups and try to fill in the gaps. This also helps prevent bland abilities. "You are slightly better at talking to people" doesn't provide enough detail to get imaginations going. The `Evil CYOA' has great ability descriptions, if you want inspiration.

Could you clarify what you mean by that? If you dont' want people to just spend points on `having a big dick' you could give each sex upgrade an attached supernatural power. You could also have mechanics for how collecting sexpower works, and then how each upgrade would change that.

Maybe the sexpower collecting could work on an achievement type system? So you have goals like "Do a bride at the altar" or "a bus full of schoolgirls" and you have to choose the parts that help the most.

Or you could give sextargets stats.That might work. You'd have a Monster Manual but for banging instead.

Then, personally, I'd do two things: One, make the upgrades specific and slightly unusual. This plays into those fetishes you wanted to introduce too. So you don't have big tits, you have tits that double in size when people stare at them. You don't just have a big dick, you have a dick that drains IQ points to enlarge itself.

When something is vague, people just pick things they like and move on. When its specific, they have to be creative to get what they want. It also helps people picture the ability, which makes them care about it more. (People care way more about an option that gives you $500 bucks as opposed to one that just makes you "more wealthy").

Second, complicate the process getting those things. Don't just let people order off a menu. The whole three type thing you got going seems like a good idea in that direction.

What sort of abilities, transformations, etc would help you out? I like brainstorming shit.

First things first, if you can't beat them join them. I essentially want to start off with taking the plunge with being assimilated into the hive. The description doesn't imply that I'd have a complete character death, though there will still be significant mental changes. On top of that I've got a hard-on for selfcest so I also want to be looking in-line with the rest of The Hive. I'm thinking for appearance I want to be looking similar to Starfire, because I'm a sucker for that long red hair and she's already stupidly friendly. I definitely want to avoid "ordering off a menu", but choice and strategy should be emphasized. I wouldn't want any options to be a singular forced choice that players have to make in order to get the form they want. I'd rather provide them with a bunch of options and have them weigh the positives/negatives in terms of their build goal.

Using your breast growth example, I'd rather it be something like:

1) Your breasts increase by x when you transform. (default option, normal cost, low bonuses)
2) When you are in demonic form your breasts will increase in size when they meet a mortal's gaze. (modified option, lesser cost, more bonuses)

It makes sense to me, at least from a lore standpoint, that options which increase your sexual abilities should provide rewards. Options that let you do cool shit like run fast, be super intelligent, or be socially manipulative should force the player to take punishing options.

As for what I need help with, creative body modifications that are balanced but overall beneficial. I think the Ethereal limbs form "Figure" in my post above is a good example of this. No one would willingly give up their arms and legs (even if it's your fetish) without a significant reward. So instead it turns you into a floating vessel of magical power.

Really all the options need fleshing out, and I don't expect anyone to start writing whole portions, but if you see something that you feel could be improved please don't hesitate to share. I also understand that it's hard to make suggestions when the actual mechanics aren't fleshed out, but I'm working on it.

Just to give some information on other things I'm working on that I'd love ideas for:

Upon start the game the player will select from 3 (maybe more if I'm so inclined) worlds that each have varying levels of technology and magic. Earth, for example, would be low magic - high tech. This is mostly to increase player choice. Options that are particularly strange might not be practical for earth, as almost everyone would be horrified by such a sexual abomination. But on a primitive world full of magic, they might worship you as a god.

The part I'm stumped on is how to flesh out each planet and get players to connect. Should I add factions that the player can choose from? Specific jobs to perform for them? Specific races? Etc.

I get the full body redesign, the mental reconditioning to help me act appropriately by nature, and a year in surroundings designed to help me acclimate and identify as my new persona. Okay so gameplan:

1) The player chooses a world, which can range from earthlike to high fantasy, and an allegiance to some faction. Worlds and factions will provide bonuses to various stats depending on the setting.

2) Player gets a new mortal body. This could be a variety of different races depending on the world you choose. This body won't have any affect on your classification as a succubus or incubus so they can swap sexes upon transformation.

3) Depending on what mortal body the player chooses they get a certain number of points to spend on primary demonic parts. These will be mostly non-sexual and will serve as the base for their demonic body. Primary demonic parts will have a cost, but will provide the player with relevant abilities, powers, and points towards magic.

Each primary part has a specific alignment towards the three trees: bestial, corruption, and ethereal. Selecting parts will accumulate devotion towards the tree that it belongs to. Devotion will be a perquisite for some primary parts, secondary parts, spells, etc.

4) The next section would be secondary parts, which are explicitly sexual body modifications. I'm not sure of how to balance this, but I like the idea of some kind of sexual collection stat that is increased by selecting parts in this section. The sex collection stat could be used to unlock rewards or other options, though I haven't settled on it.

4) The player then chooses from a variety of spells and curses using points gained from the primary parts section.

Still needs work but I'd love some feedback.

I had to ignore the 'no male parts' bit in succbus CYOA cause I need dicks. Losers are preferred at this stage due to typically having low ambitions and little attention from their society, being easy prey to tactics such as flirty fishing, and because the Hive sees itself as the good guys and good guys do charity.

The Hive fulfils all its contracts to the letter and spirit, choosing the latter over the former if necessary.

The Arrival

The defining fact of mortals is that they die. So will happen to the Hive's associate members too, no matter how carefully protected. When it does, their spirit is drawn Beyond the Universe to the Hive proper and becomes a full member.

It would be incorrect to say the newly arrived spirit floats in nothingness, because that would imply there's space. There is not. A spirit is not an intangible person. Rather, the spirit is a mote of awareness. As the mortal body dies, senses fade; as the brain does, thoughts, emotions and memories go as well. There's precious little for the dead to be aware of. But into that nothingness new things intrude.

Memories return, now including anything any member has ever known (yes, this means that if your mother is a member, you remember what it was like to give birth to yourself - and, for that matter, to conceive you). One's own self is seen through the wisdom of a trillion lifetimes, often leading to drastic changes in personality as cultural assumptions are exposed as mere options, survival is no longer a concern, and any skill any member has ever possessed can be freely used. This process takes as long or as little time as any individual spirit requires, but once it's complete, it's time to start their new life.

The Hive

While the Hive is not a place, it has realms. Those range from small planets to a single room in size and from semi-permanent to an afternoon's delight in duration. They are populated by automatons, seamlessly combining post-singularity technology and demigod-level magic, which are spawned as needed and disappear when not, just like the realms themselves. A spirit may enter an existing realm or spawn a new one, occupying an automaton made to their specifications as their body. While these can take any shape, most members will eventually settle into a form or a set of forms they're comfortable with, after adjusting to their new insight about themselves.

Every member possesses every skill and memory any other does, and is peripherally aware of what they're doing, feeling and thinking. This can be extremely embarrassing as everyone knows your dirty secrets, even those you refused to admit to even yourself, but is mitigated by you knowing theirs, as well as the general attitude adjustment brought by the process of assimilation.

Do you want to dine in a fancy restaurant? Perhaps you'd like to create a work of art? Maybe you're up to spending some quality time with a comely succubus, or being one, or do you wish to satisfy more intellectual appetites by uncovering the mysteries of the arcane or mechanical sides of the Universe? All paths are open to every member; never again is any door barred by lack of position, skill, or ability. The mysteries of the Universe are open to you, even if one of them happens to be that your sister wishes incest taboo didn't exist - which it doesn't, in the Hive.

The culture of the Hive is by necessity extremely permissive and tolerant, because the only thing you cannot have is privacy. Everyone you interact with knows you better than you did in your mortal days. If you find someone sexually desirable, they know. If that someone happens to be your daughter, everybody knows. If you'll do the deed, they can watch or recall the event from either side. If you don't, they'll still know you wanted to, just like you know all their perverted desires, whether acted upon or not.

The Hive sees itself as the seed of the "true" form of creation. One day everything will be part of the Hive, and there will be Harmony. There's a huge religious aspect to this, as well as the simple fact that the Hive grows and gains with every new member. The danger of hubris is mostly kept at bay by the sheer banality revealed by shared memories - or at least that's what the Hive keeps telling itself. However that might be, the Hive will always at least try to act like it imagines the good guys would in any given situation, and has enough collective wisdom to usually be right about that.

Needless to say, most religions tend to take a very dim view of Hive cults, should their nature be revealed. However, syntheses can and do occur.

What Anon said of course. Still, no reason for you not to start yourself. As far as the story goes you have a solid foundation for what and why the player can customize his Fuck Doll. That's great, you could even cite some of th text right from the story.
Next, you should start by thinking about which categories there will be, I think a good fit would be mind conditioning, skin color, sexual features, accessories (including the piercings).
For gameplay a point-buy system, with $ sound right on Spot. Maybe include a roll on how much the player may spent.
