Hey /d/, need some suggestions.

Wanna play FC but not all over the place like I always seem to do (buy everything, waste slaves doing shit stuff, etc.). Looking to become a female who rescues other females from slavery. Set in Australia (due to crazy Mad-Max weather and because I love Australian accents/girls) so restrict trade so most are Australian girls. Also restrict so dickgirls don't appear too much/at all, thus making this a realistic playthrough. Any tips/suggestions on...

-How to best play a female player? They seem to always lose a lot of reputation quite quick. Is rep worth keeping if I just "build" up my own recruiter? What is rep really useful for other than buying slaves from higher auctions?

-How to best play as someone who is "rescuing" females from a life of slavery? Of course, they'll need to become slaves themselves but all based on being nice (BUT FAIR - not afraid to dish out punishment) so serving others as a servant will be their main role.

-Servants is the main job. Would working in a healthy brothel be a viable option? Or, say, milking? What doesn't seem too demeaning for the "story" that I'm going for?

Any thoughts/suggestions on this type of playthrough (or suggestions on a specific "roleplay" for myself or others to try) would be great! Sorry for the weird request but I need some direction in FC or else I just do everything the game offers and then I'm bored and flaccid after 5 hours of buying and training slaves.

If I have a few servants, cost may go down enough for the school and focusing on business to be enough to keep me in the positive - still need ideas for money-making strats. As for strategy: I have no idea how to do this in a slave-friendly way. Dairy eventually immobilizes them, Arcade is out for obvious reasons, Brothel is rape or coercion for any slave below Accepting, and your Facilities don't produce nearly enough money to run your city off of.

I've done something similar to this before (though it was an attempt to make all slaves more happy, not just females) and my strategy went something like the following.

>get her trained up in all relevant skills
>meanwhile, put Fearful and worse into solitary confinement, Ambivalent and better are put to serving the public
>as soon as the Madam is ready and you have at least two slaves at Masterful Entertainer, build the Brothel, put the other slaves in it, and set the Madam in charge
>continue filling the Brothel with Masterful Entertainers, expanding as necessary, while filling important slots like Bodyguard, Headgirl, Concubine, Warden, etc.

That's the default. The Industrialized Dairy is what happens when you purchase all the upgrades and put them to use.

This is already a thing: you actually have to set the pit to Lethal, otherwise it's just hand-to-hand combat stopping at first to drop. There's no real way to make this humane though: at the end of the day you're forcing two slaves to beat each other up and the winner to rape the other for your own amusement.

Hey guys, currently working on a concepts of a small lewd project, wondering whether this will be interesting for anyone, except me. So you play as an incarnation of a forest god, whose sacred domain with all ancient spirits and animals was burned to the ground by buttmad landlords and now inhabited with peasants. Your ultimate task is to make your forest great again, by capturing human females and either turning them into forest creatures with potent strategical usage or using them as breeding slaves, stimulating your army growth and increasing the influence of the wilds on conquered regions. By making progress throughout the game you will unlock more monster types as a reward for completing special objectives, without which you won't be able to advance further as enemy's special forces will have to be countered. Thus, globally it may be a tbs with a map divided on regions. The point I'm not so sure about is that on a paper it looks like there are plenty of creatures which will violate women except for homo sapiens. Pic is a possible reference of a main character.

A couple versions back FCDev refactored rep so that in addition to the score you see, you have a 'floor' that it can't drop below. Any time you gain rep, that 'floor' goes up a little bit, and it never drops. So even if a female oligarch has a hard time keeping a high rep score, you're still pushing the 'floor' up every time you gain rep, which will over time force it higher even if only because it can never drop below your floor.

Also, FCDev needs to implement floating arcologies (as mentioned on the screen when choosing your location) so I can name mine Atlantis. Either have the 'continental' setting just generate slaves from countries bordering the ocean you're in, or heck I'd be okay if it forced you into the 'international' slave setting.

If the forest is totally inimical to human life, then it's Balkan. If it's unfriendly to humans, but is fine with them existing so long as they don't encroach on Forestland, then it's Grecian/European.

I've been playing a lot of Paternalist runs recently, and since you're disincentivized to use the Arcade as a Paternalist (the rep loss is still managable unless you go crazy with it, but I try to conform to my FS choices), I've been using the Brothel (with aphrodisiac upgrade) as my 'punishment for malefactors/rebels/etc' choice.

Yeah, the reality of being on aphrodisiacs constantly is pretty bad. That's why it's a punishment - if you break the rules, you get sentenced to a life of constant sex, and you get made to enjoy/want it.

Then again, I also do Gender Traditionalist a lot and chastity belt virgins - my 'club' is usually more of a showcase for virgin slaves so that prosperous men of the arcology can meet them and perhaps purchase them as a wife or breeder.

Generally, progress varies.

A lot of people like to add a few things to their game at a time every once in a while so they don't burn out. A lot of projects are mostly one-man shows, meaning if that person loses interest, that project is as good as dead.

We do have a few teams though, and that increases the chances of something getting done immensely, but it is also difficult to organize, making knowing what to do next a big enough problem that work on them can be really slow too.

Okay, I think it might be better to focus on racial differences first, especially in C#, being a strongly-typed language.
Do you know anything about a normal distribution? Lets say each race has a member heightDistribution that can be used to produce a random height. Whenever you make a person of that race, you can then get a height for them by going Race->heightDistribution.generate().
You can then do exactly the same thing for bust, weight, and with a little modification also things like eye and hair colour.

There are a few more ways to set up your people to define them well by their race, but this is a simple start.

i ended up shying away from doing a deviation and I ended up just using the random height weight table on pfsrd, since the table ties together the roll for height and weight it means I can have body types per height per race very easily

for example a halfling male can be any height from 32 to 40 inches, and their median weight is 30lbs + 1 lb for every inch above 32. so I can have a halfing who is 34 inches who SHOULD weigh 32 lbs, so right now I have it set that if the actual weight is below 0.7 * the allowed weight it malnourished, 0.8 is thin, 0.9 is fit, 1.1 is average, 1.2 chubby, 1.3 fat, and 1.4 obese

hopefully this will work for now, but I do see the attractiveness of using classes for race, gender, body etc since it would be so much easier to keep track of

On a different note, what does the Cook position really do? Anon who wanted to roleplay FC as a female PC who "saved" girls from slavery. Well, so far it's not going great. While one slave is worshipful and very smart (school teacher now and makes decent money), the other slave didn't get so lucky...I tried to care for her until she somehow liked me but while she feared me less and less, she hated me more and more. I decided to break her will...over multiple weeks...and well I got tired, picked "extreme will breaking techniques" and now she's got the mind of a retarded toddler. Mindbroken. Just from one session. Sold her for 5K. I'll be honest, this "female saving other females from life of slavery" playthrough could've gone better.

I'm rich as fuck, though, so that's good, but I got horrible rep from ruining this slave and working on only her.

Just realized the "nicest" way to raise devotion might not be obvious. What you need to do is set up the rules properly, not giving slaves the freedom to dissent until they're on board with your way of running things. This means

> restricted relationship rules
> metal collars, unless you want to shock them into being "odd" for disobedience
> naked, if you don't want to put them into uncomfortable clothes

Confinement will slowly raise devotion and drop trust at the expense of health. Curatives will up trust and health. Combining the two will slowly (and expensively) raise devotion.

Personal Attention will hasten a slave's devotion gain because it halts the weekly rollback. If you don't want to break a slave's will and don't have the cash for curatives, confine + care for her will up her devotion more readily because of PA.

So by giving them all this nice stuff when they hate you, it makes them think they can take advantage of you and you won't punish them.

It really isn't hard to get slaves to like you. Start with hard work (raises worship faster) go to rules, and allow all the nice things from accepting and above. I'll start off with mentioning my point of view: I don't play No Haven often or Warlocke's Revenge at all, nor do I go out of my way to read about him outside of this thread. I do not particularly care about Bedlam, save that I dislike the arguments that he has inspired.

That being said, I believe Bedlam does not understand the atmosphere here. He refuses to accept critique, takes jokes very personally, and is very sensitive about his race.
