Because they want to make sure as few people as possible get to see it, and that even fewer will ever see it at the :orig res (though this is partly twitter's fault too). This is also why they still distribute physical-only doujins at comiket, because it screws over the vast majority of their fans (basically anyone that isn't able to attend or hire a proxy), even their fellow Japanese.

The japanese artists get no greater joy than from seeing their own hard work go to absolute waste, squandered away in front of as few people as possible.

I shudder to think of all the stuff they draw but never post.

Anyway, as for the videos, most of them can be had by inspecting the HTML around them (right-click, inspect element) and digging around for the player wrapper div. In there somewhere will be usually be a reference to an mp4 file you can open in a new tab and save directly via right clicking. I can probably make a more precise guide if you need one. Certain rare types of video format are implemented in such a way that saving them is almost impossible, though.

Where did you get this from? Get on DA. Have a Gallery going and your pics (including these requests) will be easily available for viewers. Believe it or not even artists who come here like notETZ have a Gallery on DA.

Also not to sound mean here, but do you seriously believe the anons here SAVE pics? They just let them get posted and only a select minority even bother to save anything. The rest? Will permit even rare pics to be lost forever and then they'll beg for anyone to re-post that old gem of a pic.

For that reason make your stuff easy to find through a Gallery from DA.

Framework bloat and the incessant need to add more "features" in order to stay relevant (ie job security). You get too many devs working on the same code for long enough, eventually you have to "standardize" things and use third-party frameworks and before you know it, your code becomes a cycle of trying to fix slightly more problems than it creates for itself.

Nobody ever has the time or know-how to go in and prune or replace old code, so it becomes sediment of layers of code that nobody understands or knows how to fix because they just hacked it together from different sources instead of writing any of it themselves.

It happens a lot in software that builds on previous versions of itself rather than starting from scratch once in a while.

For a site that exists to show people tiny text messages and the occasional media, twitter sure does require an unholy amount of html, javascript, and css just to function. And that's just the interface; I bet the true nightmare is the stuff that runs server-side.

this is generally true, but the GTS jp community is a lot better for it than the average jp artist community, which you can tell by how every bigger-name artist makes DL sales for their shit except ST and 106m, and even the latter were collaborating with a western guy for a little while before they ditched him.
probably a big part of it is like yunzo's efforts over the last decade+ to make bi/multilingual sites for GTS stuff.

I don't have any issues with you using a name/trip, but as I mentioned, it's probably best to restrict your name/trip usage to posts where your identity is relevant to your posts. There's rooms for a lot of the minor characters in the villa, but you have to complete the sidequest in the cat house to have the option to change from 1/10 size, 1/100 size, or disguised as Tosca. There seems to be three different dialogues with each character for each "mode" you're in, and some are just talk.

Also, in case it wasn't clear, there are no new CG for these scenes, so you're going to have to translate the dialogue to get what's going on.
