New thread for latex and rubber suit
Has anyone worn a latex suit with a sheath and fucked in it before?
>>6810089
Yes. It feels great right up until the rubber meets the road (pun sort of intended). Latex absorbs most lubricants like a sponge. Wearing a condom over the sheathe and lubricating that is essential but even then you have a very limited period you can fuck for (5 min tops) before more lubricant is needed.
>>6810315
What lubricant dis you use? Water base? Silicon? Did you finds the type didn't matter?
You know those lubricants sold along together with condoms in shops like 7-11 and supermarkets, can you use them to lube yourself before wearing your latex suit? Or can they only be use for sex and masturbation?
>>6810315
Can semen or other bodily liquid damage latex when you masturbate or have sex?
>>6811355
You totally can, though to be honest Silicon lube is your best bet. Do not use Petroleum Jelly though. Biiiig no no on the latex.
>>6811360
Your skin oils can degrade latex over time, which is why you should wash your stuff regularly with a mild detergent. But it won't eat right through it (just imagine your semen could destroy condoms...)
>>6811197
I've tried various different lubricants. Nothing helps. I think the big offender is actually vaginal juices, which seem to either wash away or overpower any other lubricants and the chafing becomes a problem. If my GF wore something with a latex sheathe and we used silicone lubricant I'm pretty sure latex-on-latex sex could work out but you'd have to find out from someone else as it will never happen for me.
>>6811360
Most any bodily fluid (especially sweat) can damage latex if you leave it in contact with the material for long periods. If you wash your latex after use though there's no problem at all.
I've never owned or even felt latex wear before but I'd like to buy my first piece.
I found a couple candidates on Amazon. Probably not the best quality but theyre cheap and noone will wonder about an amazon box.
Should I get a hood or briefs?
also, what is the best option for discreetly storing? I've been keeping my other toys in a shoebox under my bed.
>>6811527
>>6820438
Neither, get some gloves or if possible a material swatch or patch. You really want to test for allergies before you start spending any kind of real money.
>>6820438
The most dangerous place is the safest, so why not hide it in plain sight?
Maybe put it together with your regular clothing, your latex suit wont be that visible anyway unless color.
>>6821267
Be wary of cheap latex, quality is a total crapshoot. Sometimes you get something that's OK, sometimes it's absolute garbage. So, if it turns out to be crap, don't be completely put off and remember there's better stuff. For where to store it, the shoebox would probably be fine, as long as you store it properly (don't put it away wet/or dirty, don't let it stick to itself, etc.). I'm guessing the stuff on Amazon won't be the worst stuff (unless maybe it's from China), but I don't really know for sure.
As for what to get, go for whatever you think you would like the most. I half-agree with >>6820859 in that personally, I like the gloves, and it'd be a good idea just to confirm that you aren't allergic (and be aware, the really bad stuff tends to trigger allergies far more (due to the chemicals used, I think), and chlorination can reduce it significantly) before putting it anywhere too sensitive. If you go for gloves, do make sure you get the right size. Too small and it'll get uncomfortable (not like the thin medical ones, that will stretch a huge amount easily) very quickly, and too big just fits loose and is no fun.
>>6820438
>The most dangerous place is the safest
That's a new one to me...
Ah well, I guess anywhere cool and dry and out of the sun should be fine, so long as there's not anybody being too nosy.
One last thing: latex isn't super shiny like in all the drawings and model photos online straight out of the box, you have to apply some shiner to it, and pretty much any silicone based personal lube or shiner should work as well as lubing it up to make it easy to put on. If you don't care much about the shine, talc powder (i.e. baby powder, foot powder, body powder, etc., read the ingredients) makes a good practical lube that easily wipes off and doesn't make a mess, but it doesn't give you that shine. Either way, some kind of lube is a must for tight fitting things like gloves, not as much for the bigger stuff though.
>>6825700
Love that story. Shame there's not more related art. I mean okay not that 'featureless latex person' is terribly unique visually, but still.
>>6826451
Oh, there is plenty, on Deviantart.
There is also a remake of sorts of the story but not as good. It tried to go a little beyond Eudeamon and explore what a eudeamonic society would be like but kind of runs out of steam by then.
ok maybe you guys can help me
a while back i found a story where on a fictional world the punishment would be being stuck in a full latex suit for X amount of time and everything being controlled the story is about a journalist who gets captured or volunteers (cant remember wich) and gets this punishment can some one help me find it again

>>6827717
You sound like a real blast to be around.
Can I replace the powder in dry gloves with lube or should I just spend $25 more on getting both a silicon inside and outside?

>>6827885
Lube it yourself. I honestly can't understand why anyone would pay money to have something come prelubricated unless you don't have proper silicone lube or something.

Not him, but the idea is interesting. Interconnected brain space is a different route to cyberspace then I have seen in other cyberpunk literature. Also the eudeamon itself would be uploadable.
Now that they are making a live action movie of Dinaranger (sorry, no latex pictures seen so far, I checked) they might as well make a live action movie of Eudeamon.

Wait, what? You mean something other than the old 2-parter on GIGA, that wasn't nearly as sexy as it should have been?

>>6833394
She's a character that a kind Anon commisions stuff of and uploads to /d/ (and sometimes /aco/) threads.
>>6833827
I haven't commished much lately, a couple new things over the last few months but the flow's trickled down quite a bit. Mainly because of shifting my disposable elsewhere, but also a lack of ideas that really grab me enough to want to get art of.
They're also all western so it feels kinda weird to post them here, but damn there's a few eastern artists I'd be all over getting something from. Houtengeki probably wouldn't do it, but a rubbermonster butt shot by him would be the dream.

Character name is Aislin, or something like that.

>>6835203
UPDATE: I have answered my own question. It's Lo(Leukemia), and it's DJ Sona.
Visited today the Boundcon and bought a nice grey male top with front zipper. Lots of awesome latex stuff to see there.
>>6837358
>Boundcon
Why did I not know about this.
>>6837584
i tought no one of you lives in munich...
At least no one from the last thread.
>>6838396
Meh, Munich is a bit out of my reach. But good luck at lot is going on in NRW.
Also from munich here, although i skipped boundcon this year :D
>>6838396
I certainly don't, but I could take a vacation there someday.
Ah, who am I kidding? By the time I get my life here sorted, I'll be too old and too single to go and do such a thing.
Hearing Germans whine about how they don't know any nearby latex kink is like hearing Eskimos complain they can't find snow.
http://imgur.com/JYG6gub
Here something from the Boundcon.
My new top from Latex101.
See.. the problem with latex is: It looks good on women, because them curves.
On men it looks like you're wearing a plastic bag
>>6839219
Arguable. I'm a guy and in latex it's hard to tell which gender I am without looking at my chest.
it's all in the body structure - there are some guys out there that have a feminine body structure, and some women that have a masculine structure.
>>6839219
Latex looks great on me. When i see myself in latex i look much more masculine and somehow its turns me on...
If some fellow germans are interested, can you give me a good place to look for latex interessted people? you also could send me an email.
>>6838695
From my understanding, latex culture in Germany is very elitist. Britain as well. It can be very intimidating for a new person just entering the scene.
Just because there's snow all around you, it doesn't mean you know how to build an igloo. Or something.
>>6839147
You look great, anon. I really prefer loose fitting, almost-casual-looking latex clothing on both men and women. It gives a bit of surrealism to the ordinary, opposed to overt fetishism, which has never really been my thing.
>>6839219
Matter of opinion. I know a good number of women who fawn over men in latex (and a couple men too).
My only problem with latex fashion is the same problem I have with traditional fashion: The options for women so drastically outnumber the choices for men's fashion - which I suppose may lead back in to the point you were trying to make. It's true, it's very difficult for a woman to look bad in latex, whereas a man's outfits are more demanding; but it can be done.
>>6839621
Wish I could find a gal here in Iowa who's into latex and/or me wearing it. I enjoy wearing it but finding a kinky chick who's available is proving difficult.
>>6839621
>it's very difficult for a woman to look bad in latex
Oh, you'd be surprised. Outside of the modelling world, where the garments are made to fit and the models are cherry-picked, your average woman can very easily look awful in latex.
>>6815401
Think you have an image with one of those over the mouth
>>6839621
Kink culture in France is also very elitist I've heard.
>>6808120
this is seriously the cutest thing ever.

Femanon spotted.
Women are way harder on their bodies than men are. Unless you literally could paint yourself white and cosplay as the Michelin Man chances are you probably look fine to good in latex, not even white knighting. It comes down to perceptions of the opposite sex. Most women I've talked to are just as forgiving of men's bodies. It's hard to see the appeal in a sex you aren't attracted to.
>>6840508
At the boundcon i saw a ultra cute copule, the girl in full latex. She was a bit chubby but the latex made her hot as hell ;-)
>>6829112
Honestly I was really disappointed by the story for exactly what you point out... bet that is confusing, let me explain.
I thought they were going to flip the script as it were, and winter was going to turn out to be a construct of her ego. It was going to be this message that we all have somebody that wants to meet our needs in our own heads, our 'own' voice that our thoughts are in. On the job of our lives is to work together with that, rather than the head vs. heart narrative that is so prevalent in modern romance. The voice in our heads doesn't need to be a critic, as I think it is for most of us, it can be loving and supportive. It could have been a really spiritually profound story. Instead it just turned out excellent.
We all carry our own "Winter", the I that thinks therefore it is, is it!

Just got my first full body catsuit, on a whim decided to spring for the chlorinated finish. Slooooooooooow satisfied with the end result. I've done talc and lube before, lube is fun, but all my pieces will be chlorinated from now on.
new LDM is in.
I've been looking for a full catsuit to wear, but something I barely ever see is full catsuit sex where even the holes and penis are fully encased. Full penetration without breaking through the suit like >>6850584 makes me diamonds and I'm not really sure how to fully emulate it.
There are condom suits that come pretty close to my dream but I heard they're not that strong and will break if you actually fuck using them?
Another thing I found is this one German manufacturer called Simon-o will create a tiny hole in the suit right at your ass so it can stretch open and accommodate a dildo, but it would probably strangle a real penis. I'd love to indulge in this fetish but having a zipper open up to naked flesh just doesn't appeal to me and I can't get off just standing around looking sexy.
>>6869034
Use multiple pieces. I use a pair of latex briefs with an attached cock sheathe under my catsuit. That way if I break the sheathe during sex I'm only out ~$20 instead of $400.
>>6869034
Also Rubear make such outfits.
>>6845931
They're so sweaty and fragile ;___;
I think i'm gonna make a thicker rubber suit that has an internal silk lining or something so that its comfy to wear
>>6872819
A thicker rubber suit with better glued seams would do, but a silk lining would just ruin the tight rubber suit feeling
>>6873090
Not the person you're replying to, but I love the look and the smell of latex. I think most people look amazing in it, but have basically zero interest in wearing it myself. I do own quite a few pieces, but only because of the dress code at a lot of events that my friends and I will attend.
To me, it doesn't feel especially erotic to wear. If anything, it's uncomfortable - but not enough to be really worth mentioning. It reminds me a lot of wearing wet clothes.
That said, I also don't like form fitting clothes, so take all that with however many grains of salt you like.

Anybody have experience buying cheaper-made latex from abroad, namely China? I'm looking for my first black hood, but it's hard to gauge quality. I know latexcatfish is a thing, but they don't do hoods :(
>>6900453
I have bought from these folks in the past: http://stores.ebay.ca/Latex-Clothing
The build quality was good. Never had a seam blow. You'll want to ask for M2M (Made to Measure), and take some good measurements of your head.
Be polite and understanding when you message them. Sometimes their rep's english is great, other times can be spotty, but I always managed to get my message across.
When you get your latex, wash it with baby soap / shampoo. That is, a very mild soap and warm water. Let it dry. And then wash it again. Do this a few times.
In my experience, their latex doesn't have the same warm, chocolate-like smell that Catfish or more expensive "brands" do. It can have a slight, unpleasant industrial-ish odour until it's washed a few times, but it's never given me anything like a rash or allergic reaction. I imagine the smell is just a remnant from their adhesives.

I see. Thank you very much for your advice.

Just want to warn here that the industrial latex that comes from chinese vendors is often literally toxic and can cause you to form an allergy to all latex
>>6901965
Another point to remember is that, industrial latex isn't the same as the natural stuff that costs slightly more. You should treat your first experience with latex carefully, because its really wonderful, and it would be a shame to get turned off by shoddy industrial quality latex
>>6893508

>>6903142
"Latex" is a broad term. I can pretty well guarantee that anything being used for clothing is coming from a very short list of suppliers in Asia. Has cheap latex caused allergic reactions? Certainly. Latex is an organic material, and likes to absorb all kinds of stuff that touches it - toxic adhesives, weird cleaning agents, etc. However, you'll only encounter this sort of thing in the worst of the worst scenarios, and I feel you'd really have to go out of your way to run in to this sort of problem (maybe a full latex catsuit for $15 should have raised some flags).
Latex is an incredibly niche market, and designers know this. It might be a bit conspiracy-ish, but I feel this has played a huge part in the fear-mongering regarding off-label latex.
A designer in New York can provide you with a custom catsuit. High quality, great finish and a reputable name. Thing is, it's going to cost you about $1000 USD (probably more).
A Chinese designer can give you a very similar product for $200, maybe $300 USD.
So how do you convince people to buy the American suit? Branding. Same reason that people will pay thousands of dollars for a purse when it serves precisely the same function of one you can buy from Walmart.
I feel like I'm getting off topic, and I'm losing track of how I wanted to phrase my argument, so:
tl;dr Chinese latex isn't bad. Bad designers are bad.
>>6903920
>Thing is, it's going to cost you about $1000 USD (probably more).
This just straight up isn't true. Even from some top of the line place like Fantastic Rubber a basic catsuit isn't going to run you more than $500. If you are buying catsuits for 1k you are getting ripped off.
You can get comparable products from China though, but you have to make sure you are buying from a good source. Latexcatfish for example does excellent work for their price point. Random sellers on eBay and Amazon? That's where you can run into problems. Those sellers are notoriously shoddy and yes, some of them do "save money" by using questionable not-clothing-grade materials and it's worth being concerned about.
You're absolutely correct. Chinese latex isn't inherently bad. Bad designers are bad. It's an unavoidable fact though that a lot (probably most) of the bad designers are in China.
>>6904132
There is a specific designer in NYC who I had in mind when I mentioned the $1000 price point. They do fantastic work and are widely regarded as one of the best. Their catsuits start at $800 for a custom job, plus accessories, plus taxes, et cetera.
I used them as an example for the "brand power" example. Certainly, you can get better pricing in the west as well, but - sort of anecdotally - I find that the "big names" in latex fashion charge considerably more than even their western counterparts.
It's absolutely fair to say that a lot of scam artists and poor designers work out of China. The only reason I was trying to defend China is because I find that too many people simply repeat the rhetoric that "CHINA BAD, CHEMICALS, TOXIC" without bothering to asterisk their statement, leaving the reader responsible to interpret what they said. Specifically, I see this a lot in threads concerning Catfish, and as I own several pieces of custom work from them, I feel obliged to defend their work. It should be said that I've also had unpleasant experiences with western designers in regards to customer service, so my opinion is somewhat biased. Catfish has always had wonderful communication and stellar turn-around times.
BUT, I don't mean to plug Catfish (I sort of do).
Anyway, that was the general gist of my rant. Certainly be wary of products from China, but especially for a hobby fetishist - which I consider myself to be - it's worthwhile to shop around, and discounting an entire country because of some (okay, a lot) of bad apples can be unfair to people who want the best squeak for their buck.
