Early game, the best way is to work at the hotel. Go to the train station and sign up to work as a hotel maid for 250 rubles + tips for a couple hours of work every day between 16:00-17:00 (right after school). The barbershop and clinic pay 100 rubles per hour and have more flexible working hours.

According to an anon on one of the other chans, I update at the pace of "some slav-coder with a huge bucket of coke."

Free Cities 0.6.9, "Familiar Faces," up at freecitiesblog.blogspot.com. Added a New Game Plus function, which allows you to take up to five slaves with you to start a new game at the cost of severely reduced starting resources. New Game Plus can be used to bring slaves from a 0.6.8 save into a 0.6.9 game. NGP basically zeroes out and reloads everything except the imported slaves, sidestepping save compatibility issues. Also, went ahead and added an option to put assignment shortcuts right on the main menu, and holy shit, I should have done that months ago. The game plays much faster if you're doing anything that requires microing slave jobs. This one's thin on content becase NGP was/is a pain in the ass to debug, but it does add a couple of minor plot events, better descriptive support for extreme stuff, and a couple of little anti-frustration things players shouldn't notice because they're no longer annoying. Also, players can now answer an important question during character creation: does our lovable oversexed oligarch prefer whiskey, or cigars?

It might be more interesting if you put everything in a points pool, and let players mix and match as they please. Maybe even intentionally take penalties to give them more bonuses elsewhere.

If you're feeling up for a challenge, you could even give the PC actual attributes, and have some of the better perks walled behind attribute requirements (to prevent players from only buying the best perks, instead forcing them to pick one or the other).

IF he agreed to an engine change, it would be because of game bloat. Right now the game engine is somewhat straining against the size of the calculations involved. That is why all slaves are limited to a single trait, because multiple trait checks per turn would compound the work twine needs to do.

So assuming a more appropriate engine could be found, he would have to sacrifice the speed at which he can add things (working slow in the more complex engine he hasn't mastered to the same extent as Twine) for a game that runs more smoothly.

That makes perfect sense. I was just personally wondering how you would go about if you were to go about it. I understand doing something like that is well beyond what I think medical tech will be in 20 years. I know they can grow organs now, but to grow functioning testicles? Yeah that's rough because the ovaries grow, than they become balls. Also adding the prostrate and the infrastructure to get it to work, while that won't be that detailed in the game should you add it in, I can understand the fact that it's so complex and ahead of the time it won't be within the scope of the game. Perhaps as a mod or optional version of the game. Or perhaps not. I just wanted your thoughts. Thanks

Not much more prevalent than usual actually, I'm just unusually available to punch out a bunch of hotfixes. Most of the hotfixed bugs were in 0.6.8, too, so it's the real problem - the industrial dairy, raising the hole size caps, and raising the babby cap were all invasive changes, and those throw bugs. This will be the last hotfix for tonight, though.

I decided to take a different approach to my latest playthough of FC.
I would go through without having any sex slaves and generally being as nice a person as I could.

The only slave I made up from the starting options was my bodyguard. The two other slaves I started with, and every other slave I acquired, had their quirks personally softened by me and eventually made into servants to keep the costs down.
I took in two older shelter slaves that I made into my Schoolteacher and Spa Attendant, so I could get the little bit of income from those two very nice and proper facilities.
Every slave wore a chastity belt so as best make sure there would be no forceful hanky-panky from anyone.
Any other slave I bought came to me because their life, or usually their baby's, was in danger. I graciously took them in, cared for them and put them to work in my cleaning crew.
The bulk of my money came from rent from my ever improving arcology.
I steered my society towards Paternalism because of course all people deserve to be treated as well as possible.
I did end up with a small harem for my person use because a few girls sold themselves to me from pure devotion.

I am amazed at how decent a strategy it was. I never felt like I was pressed for cash. I've finally ended my rein at week 93, with only 17 slaves and only the spire left to construct.

You can apperently activate the Paternalist naming multiple times on a slave. Which lead to some interesting names when I did it a second time. The best was probably "Mrs. 'Submissive' Ms. Reta".
And the inspectors from the shelter somehow appeared in my collection of slaves after I allowed them in to inspect. I attributed that to them noticing how well everyone is treated and just not wanting to leave. They were immediately sold to buyers that would free them.

Sound design is something I'll reserve till the very end, since it'll solely be complimenting the writing. If anything, it's going to be ambient background noise; I like the idea of changing it contextually, but I'll see how much work it is to set up that stuff when I come to it.

As for the types, those are what I came up with in my storyboarding. I want to focus just on three for now, to keep it manageable, since I want to be able to do some kind of choice-and-consequence with them. I might change the types, since I've only storyboarded out the canine one.

I'm rewriting TE for Atticus in HTML5. Completely new engine designed to be as simple to use as possible. He's going to continue working on the Flash project while I work on this in parallel, porting his code from Flash to Coffeescript.

as to the markup, I add those because if the presented text has bold tags or something like

if I try to find the a to check if it's next to a vowel, it'll first detect the < as being next to the a. So the replace function will only work on things without the tags, hence a second check.

Hey Anons.

I know a lot of you like ETO/GTO/Girl's Life, so here's a game similar to it, but in a fantasy setting. It's called Albedo. Some notable info:

- Fantasy Setting: Demons, tentacle monsters, questing, magic, noblemen, farms, and all that sort of stuff. But still much larger than most games, and the only game I know of that rivals TiTs or CoC in terms of the setting's size and various locations.

- /a/rt: The game uses exclusively anime-style art instead of real-world photography like ETO. So if that ain't your cup of tea, you've been warned.

- Dynamic Starts: Unlike ETO you can play both genders, and choose a variety of starting difficulties (street urchin, farm manager, nobleman, mage, merchant, etc). Also can become a futa by meeting a certain demon.

- Machine Translation: What it says on the tin. Translation quality is still mostly understandable, but still very choppy and awkward. You have been warned, so if you complain about the translation, you're an illiterate idiot for not reading this.

IMPORTANT: This "game" contains TWO separate games in one. "Start in Another World" is the fantasy setting I just described. "Start in the Real World" is an ETO-style, modern game (though I don't play it myself, since it has less content than ETO proper).

- All homes can be bought and sold at the ministry outside the city gates. But are insanely expensive (even a slum hut goes for 20k, the farm for 50k, etc). You won't see them listed until you can afford it.
- Getting raped by most denizens of the spooky forest will increase your femininity. In fact, this is probably the fastest way to raise it. (Cap seems to be 900?)

- Mini-careers include:
- Trader (visit various towns to buy low and sell high, charter deliveries)
- Fisherman (need to buy a boat and equipment first)
- Farmer (need to buy a farm first, and some animals, or choose farmgirl start)
- Bathhouse Whore

There's also numerous jobs around that essentially trade time for gold, with no major events to speak off.

For anyone that downloaded the game, here's a tweaked file. Goes in /GAMEDIRECTORY/file-en/

Basically, there's a lot of smut/plot in the plotlines related to joining the MUH PURITY Demonhunter Mages ("The Order"). But to join them and access that content, you need to basically have 0 filthiness score (corruption) to join them. That means tons and tons and tons of grinding/prayer to reduce your corruption if you're a filthy little slut like 90% of people that play this game.

So what I is tweak their acceptable corruption levels from 0 to 990 for them (and a few other NPCs here and there, though I probably missed some). This way you can access their plotlines without tons and tons of grinding. Hopefully it won't break anything.

For anyone else still playing, a few other things. Spoiler warning ahoy!

- The Mage Order at the desert fort unlocks a big chunk of demonic fighting game content. But it's kind of grindy. And you need 0 filthiness (corruption) to unlock it if you haven't already.
- When specializing in a magic school at the Order, CHOOSE THUNDER, DISREGARD OTHERS. You can unlock super power armor by helping a certain someone recharge their power source with lightning. This armor has over double the armor of the next heaviest one, and probably ten times the attack damage of the best sword.
- Tel'Edere can only be reached by taking a caravan from the desert fort, normally. Or having insanely high stats to survive the desert crossing.
- Getting raped by monsters can actually raise your stats: femininity, sorcery (if it's a demonic/magic creature), and filthiness (corruption). However, hapeshifters can reset your magic XP to zero (but will not decrease your current sorcery level).
- Food: Eating portable food takes 0 minutes, while eating at an inn or at home takes up to an hour. If you're rich, consider eating only portable food.
- In the fishing village is a bookstore, which sells certain skill training books. Most notably, books to raise or lower corruption, intelligence, and willpower book. The willpower book also trains herbalism, which lets you harvest free food in the form of mushrooms (which can TF you) and berries (sell for 250 at Tel'dere, or use a portable food).
- Free homes include the merchant quarter bath-house, the order's academy dormitories, the thief's guild. You can do everything except homecook food here, but using them lets you sell your starting home for tens of thousands of gold at the ministry outside the main city walls.

More stuff I found looking at the code. SPOILERY, but hard to find without knowing where to look.

- If you buy a puppy from the elf girl at the fishing village inn, you can sacrifice it at the graveyard at midnight. If you do this, and aren't part of the order, or a demon or vampire, you can get info on the dark arts from the book store's shopkeeper.
- Making a deal with the devil in the forest clocktower will give you +1000 of a stat, but make it so you get random assassination encounters in town (The Order hunting you down).
- It's possible to become either a demon or a vampire. Both have their own mini-mechanics involving hunting innocents to provide you with boosts in power.
- Demonmorph seems to be unlocked by an order demonhunting quest. And succubmbing to Akbal. Be forewarned that with a high enough demon score, Order guys will begin hunting you down.
- In Tel'Adre you can find a few unique skills. Haeckel will teach you multiple special fighter moves, one less a day, for sucking her off.
- Another one is Dominika, who can be found in the tavern in Tel'Adre about two hours before it closes for the night. In exchange for semen (sucking you off, or based on how many creampies you've had that day if a girl), she'll teach you some interesting spells. This includes the ability to pre-package mana into bombs outside of combat, which is pretty useful for preparing for bossfights.
- If you filthiness (corruption) is >100, you will be sentenced to death if caught for a crime. Otherwise you get stuck in the pillory for public use.
