So I had a story idea, about an adult serial killer who is discovered by a high-school girl. She is initially terrified, but also fascinated, awe-struck, and later, turned on by him. He captures her, binds her in his workshop, threatens immense pain, suffering, and death, and to both of their surprise/confusion, she gets steamy and wet.

He hatefucks the girl, and dumps her back at her home. Over the next few weeks, he stalks her activities, and finds she is more obsessed about him then the opposite (searching/stalking, online research, diaries, shlicking, ext). He offers her a choice: Follow him and become his apprentice in killing, or go back to the grey and cold life of an unremarkable high-school student.

I am well aware these tropes have been done before in things like Hannibal and others, but I wanted to take a crack at it. The story would both be pornographic and gory. I've always loved the idea of a killer taking a would-be victim and shaping them into a protégé. I'd rather write this in installments on my own, and while I'm open for feedback and criticism, I'm not 'crowdsource' it like a 'quest'.

Should I keep it to my own mind, or put pen to paper?

Okay, maybe the 4th Urban Dictionary definition is completely correct and the 2nd is mostly correct. However, the 1st (the definition that will be most followed) is very wrong.
The 1st definition says that the character is psychotic, violent or both and falls in love. This definition basically describes any Yangire character and possibly even every enemy (Mayadere) character as a Yandere. The idea that this person falling in love makes them a Yandere is just plain wrong. The definition was written with the expectation that the lover of a Yandere is always risking their life because their Yandere will randomly kill them.

The Yandere falling in love should be the catalyst for the person to take actions that would get them labeled as a Yandere, primarily due to an overly posessive, obsessive or idolizing personality.

You don't get to choose who you fall for. Attraction has a variety of properties that determine it, the most dangerous of it being circumstance (e.g. loneliness, moment in life, career, season of the year, past experiences). Only input is the freedom to act on that attraction or not, but it's virtually impossible to control who you go yan over. In my personal experience, so far I haven't been able to go yandere for anyone else after much later my feelings for the previous person were obliterated... so I wouldn't say obsession is easy to initiate. Mileage for other will likely vary somewhat.
