Robotics and cybernetics became commonplace, and within fifty years a great number of them left earth to wage war against the alien powers. A small number remained behind, advancing science and capturing humans and animal-people for use as test subjects. Their goals, ethics and methods of operation vary, and individual technomagisters (the term used for those who chose to remain) may wage war against one another for data, samples or over a dispute. Occasionally one of their robotic servants may malfunction, entering a murderous rage or perhaps stand-by mode until a passin sentient mentally imprints and reactivates it. If lacking the capability the unit may self-modify to fulfill it's new task, one usually related to either war or sex, considering the average sentient's daily thoughts.

Animal people are the last group of sentients that inhabit earth, and have thel largest genetic variation. Satyrs (half-goat people) are the most numerous. This is not surprising as their entire society is based around sex. Males compete for females with sex, females compete for males with sex, and largescale orgies are not uncommon. They also often rape sentients of other species, occasionally kidnapping them and keeping them to breed more satyrs. Females entice males of other species, fucking them senseless before killing them and dragging them back to their lair or village, as they prefer sentient meat.

Centaurs are the second most numerous, and come in many varieties. Horse-people are wild and self-reliant, and the only species likely to trade and communicate with other races frequently. They are also a race of extremes, and any individual can be anything between murderous rapist and placid vegetarian. Deer-people are shy and flighty, as they are frequently enslaved. Their outward appearance is very young, and as such they often ally themselves with the genehanced (small, sexually underdeveloped) humans. Cow-people have a duality about them. The bulls are highly competitive, killing one another over goods or a female, and often raping other sentients. Females are submissive, usually following the orders of whoever's child grows in their belly. Because of this cow-person culture is about impregnating as many females as possible, although eventually a younger male may go around the leader's back and break off with a small group of females to start his own herd. Rhino-people are the least numerous. Stoic and unflappable, they merely wish to be left alone, although they are fierce warriors when threatened. They often join up with horse-people and guard their caravans in exchange for goods.
