Ideally for me, the skin would look identical to regular skin. No sheen, no difference in texture either. At one point or another, teeth/hair/fingernails have to stretch but also go back to their normal shape/form for elastic characters. How can a person eat when their teeth deform as easily as the rest of their body? Well, keeping with some of the themes of elsie's/komal's apparent abilities, how about someone having the practice to be able to not only stretch their finger/tow nails, but to shape and harden them as well like a defensive shield, or finger blades.

Or have a character that is Gothic and does not explore the stretching as pure elasticity, but more as purely shapeshifting, living out a fantasy in that they think that they have become a true vampire, stretching teeth etc and such.

There is so much potential in the elastic/plastic/malleable playset that is just so underutilized. Would love to collab on a story but I have no real writing skill for characterization, but I never could run out of ideas.

"Did you get our stuff?" Yoko asked, worriedly. Justin nodded and held up the bag.
"Get in here!" Yoko said, grabbing Justin and pulling him into her home, "You would not believe what happened to us!"
"Us? - um -?" Justin looked down to see Yoko's arm was stretched around his waist like a thick coil of taffy, "Whoa - are we tripping here, or what?"
"Oh - oh, I'm sorry!" Yoko said, pulling her arm in, "It's been like this - since I found the coin. Was it there?"
"Weird gold coin - no. At least, the attendant who got your clothes didn't see one." Justin said, handing Yoko the bag. She began pulling the damp clothes out and looking through them carefully, "What happened. you're like - silly putty or something?"
"That must've been what Lynn was thinking about!" Yoko said, "See, it all started at the gym this morning..."

"You always beat me!" Yoko complained as she and Lynn entered the empty locker room at the gym, "Why do you always have to beat me?" The slim short girl looked up at her tall muscular friend. She was a good head shorter than Lynn.
"Because I'm taller - and I excercise more than you." Lynn grinned, wiping the sweat out of her eyes, "Darn, the heat is still on the fritz in here?" They went to their lockers to get their clothes out.
"Our gym membership at work. Oh - hey! Look at this!" Yoko said, waving a golden disk under Lynn's nose. The taller girl stepped back.
"Hey! I'm watching my figure!" Lynn said, waving Yoko away, "No chocolate gold coins for me!" Yoko laughed, and rapped the disk on the metal locker. It made a loud metallic sound.

"No chocolate here! It would've melted in this heat!" Yoko laughed, trying to bend it, "Just - I dunno, gold?"
"Where did you get that?" Lynn said, plucking it out of Yoko's hand. It was old, with the image of a dragon attacking a village on one side, and a village being destroyed by a whirlwind on the other, "Weird coin."
"I just found it - here." Yoko said, pointing to the locker she was using, "It wasn't there before. I know it..."
"You always inspect your locker that closely?" Lynn said, brushing her bright red hair back.
"Do you want to know what's in locker 27?" Yoko asked. Lynn frowned - she didn't want to know, "It wasn't in there before."
"Okay - okay." Lynn said, stripping her workout suit off and going to the showers, followed by Yoko, "Where did it come from?"
"Maybe it's magic?" Yoko said, taking the coin back from Lynn, and stepping into the shower. She jumped out with a yelp - the water was boiling hot.
"Okay - OW! Magic." Lynn said, quickly going into the shower and jumping out, "That makes as much sense as anything. What kind of magic?"
"I dunno - good luck - or maybe...?" Yoko said, fondling the coin, "It will grant wishes!"
"Pfft! Right." Lynn said, as they dried off, and began to get dressed, "And what would you wish for anyway?"
"I dunno." Yoko said, setting the coin aside, "What about a million dollars?"
"Before or after taxes?"
"Being a famous movie star?"
"You get stage fright - and what about weirdo stalkers?"
"Hmm - I've got it!" Yoko said, having donned all her clothes, "I wish I was built just like you." The coin seemed to glow, and suddenly Yoko felt an unnatural tightness come over her. She yelped and the coin flew through the air, into Lynn's hands.
"Yoko - what the hell?" Lynn said, rubbing the coin and watching her friend writhe.
"I - can't - breathe..." Yoko gasped, as a ripping sound filled the locker room Lynn watched as her friend grew taller, bigger.

Her clothes tried their best to contain the small girl, but they were splitting at the seams, ripping and tearing apart as Yoko grew. Yoko clawed at her blouse, ripping the front open before her bra ripped apart, letting her breathe again. She fell to the hard tile floor, panting and sweating even more in the stiflingly hot room.
"Yoko, are you okey?" Lynn asked, going to her friend and helping her up."
"Yeah, what a rush, I..." Yoko paused and looked directly into Lynn's amazed eyes, "Did you shrink or am I on a box?"
"You - grew." Lynn said, amazed at her short friend's new stature. With a new strength, Yoko grabbed Lynn by the wrist and pulled her over to the mirror to look.

"Oh no - no way!" Yoko said, circling away from Lynn, "I'm tired of being short! Everyone still thinks I'm a kid!"

"And you always got children's admission into the parks and movies." Lynn said with a sweet smile, handing Yoko her gym bag. Yoko smiled and dug in, putting on Lynn's sweaty spandex workout clothes and dumping the shredded remains of her own clothes into the trash.
"Well, at least I look like me." Yoko said, peering in the mirror again, "If I said something like I wish I was just like Lynn, things would get confusing."
"Hey - I could use a twin sister." Lynn laughed, holding up the coin.
"Don't you dare" Yoko said, waving her finger.
"Forget it." Lynn said, sitting down "I have a better wish. These warm up exercises are getting to be a pain."
"So?"
"So I wish I was more flexible." Lynn said, "So flexible that I could be in any shape I could be in." The coin gave off a strange glow, and Lynn shuddered in delight.
"Did it work? Hey, gimme..." Yoko said, grabbing the coin.
"I - I think so." Lynn said, bending her leg up, and back, behind her shoulder, "Wow! Look at this!" Yoko looked- then stared.
"What's wrong?" Lynn asked, putting her leg back down with a loud splat. She looked down in horror to see a puddle oozing out of her jeans, that was the same color as her skin. She covered her mouth with her hands, which now seemed sticky and gooey, then let go to watch her fingers melt like wax,
"What's happening to me?" Lynn cried as she sank down into her clothes, "I'm melting!"
"I'll help - Uh - I wish..." Yoko began, but the coin slipped out of her fingers and rolled across the floor. Yoko took a step towards it, but her feet were not working right. She fell onto the hard hot tile of the lockeroom floor with a loud, wet splat, that sent her hands splattering onto blobs of pudding,
"What's happening to me? You didn't wish me to be flexible!" Yoko cried, looking over her sagging shoulders as her head slid down to the floor.

"No - you wished to be build like me - so there you are!" Lynn burbled from inside her blouse. It was a strange feeling to be pouring out of her clothes and across the hot floor. Her face emerged from her pantlegs, and she looked around, "Where's the coin?"
"Over there!" Yoko gurgled as the tight workout clothes squeezed her out of them like toothpaste out of a tube. The two girls flowed across the floor to the glimmering disk, in an attempt to grab it and undo the wish. As they neared it, the coin seemed to glow one last time as if taunting them, and it faded away.
"Oh no! Where did it go?" Lynn bubbled, having lost anything that resembled a face or her former body.
"I don't know!" Yoko bubbled back, somehow understanding her, "But look where we're going!" The two shrieked in horror, as their liquid forms rapidly poured towards the drain in the floor, and swirled down the old pipes into the sewers far below the gym. All that was left in the locker room were two sets of strangely empty clothes, sprawled out across the floor.
As they helplessly poured down the pipes, a new senstation filled them, and some control returned - but not enough to keep them from slopping out of the pipe into the dark smelly sewers...

"Luckily, I live close to the gym, so we were able to - er - get back here unnoticed." Yoko said, remembering how they had stretched out into snakes and slithered up the storm drains and across dew-covered lawns before oozing under the door and into her home, "And that's when I called you."
"So you wished to be like Lynn..."
"So I need a new wardrobe."
"And new ID - she's a foot taller than you." Justin mused, "And most of your stuff is small."

"This isn't funny!" Yoko cried, "We're cursed or something!" Justin got up to give Yoko a hug.
"Hey, don't worry - this will work out. You'll see." Justin said, hugging Yoko - who was a huge handful now, "You two can get into sewer inspections - or in-depth floor cleaning."
"Oh - stop it - I'm blushing, I---" Yoko bubbled, feeling warm - no, hot. Too hot. With a gurgle of dispair, she felt herself lose control, and she was flowing down Justin and out of the clothes she had just put on. Justin looked down at the flesh-colored puddle around his feet, and at the empty clothes in his hands.

That's an interesting idea! But I tried to keep it at least that while she lost form, she was still a human body, just deformed. She and Elsie aren't shapeshifters. They can't melt their eyes or hands or arms "into" their bodies, they're always there. They can probably do simple shapes like balls or poles, but not perfectly, and they wouldn't fool anybody, IE you could see their face/nipples/etc. I wanted to make them extraordinary without being completely cartoonish. I wanna do something a little less grounded in "reality" (if you can even call it that) in the future, but Elsie and Komal are mostly built to stretch, not shapeshift.

That was a pretty wild ride.
I've yet to read the previous chapters, but this one was good.

I especially enjoyed the scene with her in the mirror expanding her features,
then leading up to her bath which was a whole other experience entirely.

I'm a big fan of the "melting" when it comes to the sort of effects rubber-women have physically
so the bath scene was pretty enjoyable for me, very creative.

Just a background on the story, the whole arc starts with Elastic Elsie Chapter 1. So if you just go to my gallery and start from the oldest story going up to Komalleable 5, that's the correct order.

The mirror was fun to write, but the tub was a wild ride for me too, I'd never even contemplated writing something like that until I'd gotten her into the water. Really fun to write, and I'll definitely revisit it in the future.
