Not really. Their styles are relatively distinct, and while In Case is definitely more technically proficient, he's not really all that much better. If you compare In Case three years ago to Anasheya a year ago, I'd actually give the advantage in proportions and perspective to Anasheya. On the other hand, Anasheya seems to stay in safer territory; In Case has always been more experimental and has pushed more at things he's not good at—even when it doesn't pay off for a long time; so making a direct comparison is difficult.

I think that the argument comes from the fact that western artists on /d are expected to have a level of technical proficiency where any Asian artist is fully expected to draw like he was mid-seizure and had never seen a mirror or another living human being. It's made people very defensive as a whole, especially when most threads that featured any form of Incase' art were immediately assaulted by /v levels autistic assault for a while there. That only gets people's backs up and you wind up with people being hyper-sensitive. Any artist that isn't constantly trying to improve isn't an artist, InCase chooses a somewhat more realistic and less animé aesthetic which means he's chosen something that is much harder technically than just plain old cartoon porn. You're going to get more criticism when you aren't drawing Japanese-style animé, if it's supposed to have realistic proportions and texture, you're open. People should chill, criticism that isn't retarded helps.

TF in general tends to have very poor quality. My guess is that it tends to be drawn more by younger artists, perhaps because it's less explicitly sexual (i.e. doesn't involve actual sex).
