It isn't wrong, but most MC doujins and such aren't written for mind control fetishists. They're written as a plot device for the Main Event (sex).
Most mind control stories end up this way too. There are some where that isn't the case, where sex doesn't enter at all or doesn't interrupt/ruin the story, but they're few and far between.

I personally learned it by looking up hypnosis scripts, playing around with those until I got the hang of adjusting them on the fly to fit the subject.
