So what would a merge between /co/ and /a/ be like?
it would be /aco/
also a bunch of shitters defending their shitty cartoons from a bunch of shitters shilling their cartoons

I just came back from the /spa/ loli thread. If something similar existed over in a hypothetical /coa/, I might be a bit more open around here. If anything, /coa/ would be a good place for Toonami and I wish moot had the foresight to combine the two boards for the night.

/aco/ already exists. It's a redboard. I don't go there as often as /co/.

Awful, the most pretentious board with the most childish arguing over east vs west endlessly, never conceding a single point.
just /anime/ and just /cartoon/ might be okay but don't subject manga and comics to them

What made these board mergers so entertaining is the "odd couple" pairing between them. Nothing is "at stake" culturally between cartoons and cooking so we can have fun, and even when we insult each other, it's in jest.
That just can't happen with /a/. We are both too far up our own asses to share a board with them.

i feel most people would earnestly try and stick to their own threads. There'd still be much more shitposting in threads where people are actually trying to have a serious discussion.
We'd be drowned. I know we have our autists here but look what happened when /sp/ merged with /a/
It was nothing but /a/ everywhere on the catalog. It wouldn't be a pretty image, /a/ is far too fast

>>>/cao/s
It'll just remain as /co/ and we will stop being autistic and stop acting like animation done in the east doesn't make it a cartoon.
Same goes for their mangos and our comics.
