>vast majority of popular Comicbook characters were made in a time where racism was institutionalised and therefore making non-White characters was extremely rare
>somehow it's not right to fix this by race bending some characters nowadays
Explain this
Just make your own damn characters
Speaking of which, there have been minority superheros, it's just that they're not notable in the slightest for the most part
Aside from that, legacy characters are fine but for fuck's sake don't make them flawless gary stus and mary sues that immediately surpass their predecessor.
Make it seem like these characters actually earned their title and proved their worth

>come forward with a fallacious and falsified argument
>"okay, now debate me under the fallacious and falsified terms I have set up. Can't make your argument? Checkmate buddy!"
Fuck off
Yeah, that's why I'm not that bothered by race lifting in adaptations. Like, if spiderman was made today, most of his supporting cast wouldn't be so white. JJJ for one would have been made black for instance, while most of his friends would look like the cast of the movie. Even his villains would have been a lot more diverse. Sometimes you have to look at it less from the perspective of accuracy to the source, and more, how it would be done if this was a new IP made today.
