It's refreshing to see a book that actually tries to make sense in continuity. A lot of other writers would've just thrown Phoenix Jean Grey in here without worrying about the continuity and in doing so they probably would've made a mess. Nope. For two reasons. If this was an ongoing story like Convergence, I would be a dumb sterling fire. But also, if we compare it to the Convergence tie ins, when two characters who are different versions of each other met, there was a deep understanding the characters would come two that was built on years of development and continuity. This is just light snap shots with characters having very surface level issue that can be solved by just progressing the natural story. These suck.
