There was at least some comedy to be had in Carrie and Devin's relationship in that train jumping episode (Devin getting his nuts smashed in and slapped to death by Based Kitty) and the Argentina episode when he got pushed off a cliff by Based Kitty as well and Carrie getting beaten up when they were trying to dance. That was a satisfying way of punishing their annoying romance.
Mike and Zoey live happily ever after, no satisfying punishment for them.

If Harold has a replacement VA he won't be the first, though. Courtney was actually played by an unknown VA in the first episode before Emilie-Claire Barlow took the role, and Alejandro had a different VA in the finale of World Tour and another in All-Stars.

I don't think this is a precedent being set, it seems more like there was a personal animosity between Harold's VA and Fresh TV or whatever as his tweets have tonal frustration in them.
