I was sort-of expecting the Zentraedi pods to be way more menacing. You know, full-page spreads when we get our first glances at one. Instead, we get them looking like they're chilling in a hot tub, blowing away a squad off-screen, and generally looking like the faceless fodder they are in action scenes where four or five of them are packed together.

I mean, you paid big money to construct those 3D models you're tracing. Show off some full page stuff, and make them look badass.

As a Robotech fan, I love that there's a new comic book AT ALL. But yeah, the art doesn't exactly fit the series. It looks like they used a bunch of Marvel "magazine trace" tactics too.
Not that the rest of you whiny Zentradi sympathizers would need something to cry about. How many of you are just here to see "if this is the issue where Minmei does the shower scene"? (yes, my hand is up, but I'm here for the series, not the skin) Fingers crossed that they won't use the godawful designs from Remember Love.
