This is a second dark age and all we can do right now is just let the ratings keep falling, tune in when shows that aren't TTG are on and hope that the same thing that happened in 2010 happens in a few years.

People could easily find videos of the series on on-demand pirate stream sites, but they choose to gather in one place and watch them all in a random order. Not an orchestrated arrangement of a variety of shows, but the same show over and over. Now you got The Simpsons channel, The Teen Titans GO! channel, even the History Channel does nothing but marathon repeats of its original programming on different reality shows (better than "Alien dun it" documentaries) while the BBC does the same.

Times are changing, grampa. If you want variety, you can mix it yourself online.

TV is also a dying medium and sometimes you gotta to what you gotta do to get decent viewership. Honestly even the dark ages of CN real were preferable to this. At least there was variety

CN is basically the Old days of Merry Melody/HB/MGM reruns, the golden age of the late 90s/earls 2000s, the decline of 2004-2006, the first dark ages of 2007-2011, the revival of 2011-2015, the second dark ages of TTG to the present

The most annoying thing about TTG is even the creators know it's awful and they constantly reference that. They take no pride in their work

I remember the "marathons" Nickelodeon used to have in the early 2000s on summer afternoons, the Nicktoon Summer Beach House. It was 3 hours of a single nicktoon and this qualified as a marathon. Now 3 hours of spongebob is the norm on Nick, and ONLY 3 hours of TTG is a big deal on any day of CN

TTG was the show that made me realize that cable is a lost cause and just drop it completely.
