This one's strangely sweet.
I think it encapsulates what we feel when something comically bad happens to us beyond our control and we know logically that no one and nothing is behind it, but we can't help but feel like we're being pulled around like puppets on strings.
"This is nature's plan for me!" Is what you say when you give up and acknowledge that bitterly.
I want to know where these two get all their cool stuff.
I feel like the joke here is that we're led to think that Bearato accidentally fell into a pile of burrs but we realize that Bearato was intentionally covering himself with burrs out of some bizarre sense of "what nature demands".
None of you all ever owned cats or dogs in burr-prone areas huh?
They fucking roll in the driest possible parts of the lawn and get covered in burrs... and half the time they eat the burrs as they lick them off their furr
shits nasty and is bad for their health. I suspect its just their way of getting attention so you have to brush their fur
Reginald and Beartato, the comic's primary protagonists, go for a ride in a hot-air balloon. Excitedly, they point out familiar things, thrilled by the novelty of seeing them for above, such as the park, the library, and their own house. Finally, Beartato declares that he sees himself and Reginald, and it is then shown in-frame that both characters indeed are on the ground, also looking at up their aerial dopplegangers. The comic ends with the two characters in the hot-air balloon exchanging a confused, surprised expression, leaving the fates of both pairs uncertain.
My favorite ones are about how pure their friendship is.
ive always loved this one. its the first one i saw before i started reading the whole thing.
It's hard to pick a favorite, but I think this one might be it. It just resonates with me.
Wait, so you have a fridge full of just unwrapped butter?
This is mine too, with this as a close second.
Actually this one should just count as part of that one too.
This is the one who make me laugh the most for some reason
What's Beartato trying to catch, though?
Having fun isn't hard, when you've got a library card.
How can Nedroid express such emotions with eyes and a beak where lesser artists fail
It's Beartato, of course they're good.
Speaking of out of context Nedroid panels, this has been the splash screen to my video player for like three years.
How many panels in the average strip are perfect reaction image material?
Last panel is /fit/ in a nutshell
This one had a special place in my heart because I remember one of my friends reoccurring thoughts were about whether or not it was appropriate to appreciate the act of someone else appreciating something you did, or 'thank you for thanking me'.
apparently this is the wrong version of this pic, but it's the one i have saved
Ha this one tickles me because Beartato just plain didn't notice when Reginald stopped going to work. I had a similar experience with a roommate in college, and I didn't notice that he rarely left the room the entire semester.
He, of course, got kicked out for failing everything
How do you imagine Beartato's voice? Unfortunately my mind can only read everything in Kevin Conroy's Batman voice however if there were an animated adaptation I could totally picture them going for a Bobcat Goldthwait type one for him.
See this is great and it's why I have a harder time getting into some of the newer ones. A good Nedroid comic need only be four panels some times it can go beyond that but it should be rare.
I got more, but this is not a One Piece thread, so I'll stop now.
>Tfw accidentally called one of my elementary school teachers "mom" once in front of the entire class.
Remember that thread were everybody made their own Nedroid strip. It was fun.
What's happening here?
I had that as my homepage for a whole year.
It always cheered me up.
I dunno, it's only got a few good strips, the rest of them are utter dogshit. Someone made a website to host all of the comic pages that are actual quality so you can skip all the bad ones, though.
For your convenience, here's a link to the site:
Heres a shitty redraw i did.
Apologies to the anon that drew the original
>Gunshowman and Mr. Nedroid.
Fuck, that's a pretty crack team up right there. Also, I just realized I have no fucking idea what the name of the guy who makes Nedroid is. Don't tell me, I want it to remain a mystery.
How else can you make butter dogs.
>Hey anon check out /co/
>Check out what?
>This board, /co/
>That's not how you pronounce /co/
>Then how do you pronuce it?
>Oh, well i feel foolish
It's /co/ as in "Koh"[ not "see-oh"/spoiler]
>when you're late to the thread and all your favourites have been posted already
>It's /co/ as in "Koh" not "see-oh"
Gif, bant, biz, fit, his, int, lit, news, out, pol, sci, soc, and toy should all be pronounced as the syllable they spell, the rest as their individual letter(s).
postin an edit that is not one piece
This was mine
The joke was I fucked up with the paint bucket
>tfw it starts happening every night while you're trying to sleep
Drink this shit and it'll really help make you forget!
