I actually like Batman & Robin as unintentional comedy, I only saw it once when I was a child and didn't really bother me back then it was an ok movie I guess and a 2 or 3 times on cable and laughed my ass off on how ridiculous the whole thing is, the movie is obviously still very bad but I'm used to MST3k-tier bad movies thanks to said show, B&R is not even close to being the worst I've seen.
If you want to watch a movie infuriatingly bad , check out Street Fighter The Legend of Chun Li
A "Bat Credit Card"? They gave him a "Bat Credit Card"? They had the BALLS to give one of the GREATEST SUPERHEROES OF ALL TIME, A "BAT CREDIT CARD"? NO! NO! DOES NOT COMPUTE! DOES NOT COMPUTE! ASDFFGGH
Whether I was just going through the motions of liking the movie as a kid, or affectionately mocking it as a teen, I've always admired the sheer audacity of the Bat credit card.
You know, it's not the DUMBEST thing in the world if you really think about it.
I mean, what if Batman has to bribe somebody? I'm specifically thinking of that one episode of Justice League with the Injustice Gang, where he ultimately bribes the Ultra-Humanite to betray Lex Luthor. How do you get the money to him? I guess you do a wire transfer? The point is that there is definitely a problem that COULD be solved by a Bat Credit Card, even if that wouldn't be the absolute best solution.
i thought it was badass as a kid is that wrong?
I was about two years old.
>tfw love campy batman is this is one of my favorite batman films
he's a rich guy in a bat costume, calm the fuck down
At the age of five she was probably my first movie crush.
Probably my first boner too.
Steven is a girl
He thinks like a girl
He acts like a girl
Boys don't need to be able to cry, boys need to be able to feel powerful and useful
You don't know what being a boy is anymore that I know what being a girl is
I don't go around telling girls to wear a jishab
>thought the joke was that batman was so cool, his credit card never expired
>didn't realize it was a pun until like 2 weeks ago
everything that came out after Batman Returns had this kind of deliberately shitty stuff in it. I have no idea why people rage this hard when none of Batman and Robin was supposed to be serious.
I was 9 when this movie came out, just the right age. Everyone shits on Schumacher, but I was exactly the target audience he had in mind and man, he nailed it.
>looking at her face
Well I was like 11 or 12 and watching this in a theater with my dad and brothers. I probably was somewhere between board and confused as to why Batman was being a campy dingdong but then again the old 60s show was still in reruns and I liked it as a kid so really it didn't bother me that much
Pretty cringey as an adult but I wouldn't mind a campy bats at this point, the grim dark shit gets old. Or hell maybe they could manage to make a detective story out of a Batman movie, but I doubt it.
Even as a kid I thought she looked better before her whole transformation. She should never take any role that requires her hair pulled back showing her hairline, she has just a bit too much forehead.
>lonely toonfag trying to shit up a perfectly good nostalgic capeshit thread with this completely irrelevant garbage
Gonna have to try harder than that, buddy
I didn't even really understand it or anything.
Can we at least agree that those ending shots in both films were kino?
